Then I don't feel so bad for trying to be an adopted Italian. :)

Seven: when you got subbed did Centrocampo take your place?? Did you get off the field and then change jerseys and run back out ??
:rofl2:

Italy had the majority ( not overwhelming) of the posession and the majority of the chances, but let's give Lithuania credit. Whenever they had posession within striking distance, they made the most of their opportunities. There were a couple of instances where only a great save by Buffon saved their ass.

However, this is the Cassano that I've come to know and admire as the fantastic player that he could be. Keep it up, Antonio.

A lot can be said about the game, but in the end Italy should have won 3-0. That's all there is to it. The fact Italy didn't win, means that they sucked.

I said I was subbed during halftime. So what is the question? If I ran back up on the pitch in order to get a glorious exit and then went back on again?

Holidays are so great...

After London, München, Portugal and Sicily, I am preparing to hitch-hike my way down to Biarritz and the Basque country with some friends. I've been like five hours in Brussels between Italy and the pays Basque... I'm so tired yet so happy.

Anyway, Forza Juve and see you guys in a month or so!

I think they were unprepared and far from acting hungry out there. But I wouldn't go so far as to say they sucked. I thought Lithuania had a decent gameplan given the talent at their disposal, and they executed it pretty well.

You can suck and still win. And you can have a good game against a lowly team and yet still draw. This match for Italy fell somewhere between sucking and having an OK game without converting enough breaks.

    OWNED ? ... yeah ok...
Cassano owned the defense...Inzaghi tangled with Gilardino in what was a goal that he never misses...so in that respect yes I would say they got owned...
credit to Lithuania but it was a weak shot which Barzagli shouldn't have let the attacker get to and which Buffon pulled a textbook 'papera'

    how was your summer Paul?

It really sucks when they play like that. I missed the game because I wasn't at home but it seems that I didn't miss much.

Thanks. If you are good little boys and play by the rules you can be located here as well
If you are gay little boys and play with government officials donks, you may not be located in Serie B as well.

Italia fans need to come back down to earth and Lithuanian fans need to realize they will never take part in the World Cup.

actually Marshall...if our owner wasn't a political whore we would not have even gotten the 8 point deduction...Juve did its share of 'bad things' but Calciopoli was just as scandalous...Inter fan now calling the shots...an anti-Berlusconi man who served him with papers before President Clinton to make a fool out of him in 1994 is the prosecutor and opposition members headed the investigation .... they got back at political Berlusca with Milan...we know it and despite popular belief Milan fans have only SUFFERED since he entered politics and NEVER gained....
