I honestly don't care for either side. I may watch some of it but I have to go in to work at about halftime so it doesn't really seem worth it. Too bad Italy - Germany wasn't the final.
I'll say this much: it was worthy of a final.

No problem, mates. Pulling for Portugal all the way of course. But if the experts are right and France takes them to the cleaners, I'll have an easier time pulling for Italy all the way in the final and Portugal for third. :agree:

And Ronaldo? He needs anti-psychotics. The guy is a borderline manic-depressive, I swear. But Portugal needs him, which is more than I can say for Juve and Zlatan.
Capello.

I'm calling for 5 red cards in tomorrow's match. Between Ronaldo's theatrics and....well Ronaldo's antics. I see a lot of players getting pissed off tomorrow especially in a close match.

And Larrionda is the ref. Both France and Portugal need to practice their 6-on-6 game.

On that note: today's referee was awesome. They need to show this game time and time again at refereeing academies and the local dumpster in Moscow where Ivanov bought his degree off of a Kazachstani

I'm calling for a 0-0 tie the whole way. With both teams not having enough players at the end to finish PKs. Portugal wins a controversial coin toss, which of course ends with Ronaldo on the ground crying, claiming Viera kicked him from the locker room.

I thought it was the best managed game of the Cup. Hats off to Mexico.

yeah the ref was great, camoranesi was the only player who got yellow from italians, and that happened in 89 minute. (2 yellows for german players) 3 yellows in 120 minute, wow.

Agreed on the excellent officiating in this Italy-Germany match.

Actually, the last close game with cards between France and Portugal resulted in some Portuguese players being banned from football for 6 months, etc.

Italy should be hoping for Portugal to go through, because with a semi-final yellow card party they'll likely end up facing characters like Quim in goal, R Costa for Carvalho (a monster disaster), and Simão for Figo.
