Seriously Nick, he's coming up on 30 years old, Milan is going to get in excess of 35 million pounds for him to rejuvenate a severly aging defense, and Milan already has other options at striker with Gilardino, Pippo, and most likely Suazo.

Not "That" big of a loss, when you think about it, despite his major contributions to the squad.

Its not as if the cupboard is totally bare.
Its not the end of the world for Milan but it is a bitter finale to Shevchenko and Milan. He was beginning to open the pages of the Rossoneri history books and secure his place among dare I say , Nordahl, Rivera, Baresi, Maldini, Van Basten and so on...not the case. At 29/30 he decides to suddendly leave a relationship like this and add insult to injury by claiming it was his family when we know it was money..however, he figured his Milan days would be looked upon fondly if people bought the FAMILY EXCUSE...not so, that lame and sudden excuse and his bending over for Abramovich has hit many the wrong way....
I acknowledge his contributions to Milan...I know he was a PILLAR all these years and respect his talents which delighted us from the his first day here....that said, after the standing ovation in the curva where he was present (which Paolo Maldini has not even gotten yet) ..after millions of pleas and more money he found no problem in flying to London and forgetting about Milan..for that reason, when he comes back to San Siro he can forget the same reception Gullit, Albertini, Rijkaard et al. received and can forget a farewell match that many received...
one is free to leave and free to look at other opportunities however, when he takes fans for a 'ride' as he has he has to live with the long term consequences..

Good Luck Sheva..have a good life :pint:

Blah blah blah, blah blah, same old speal. I really couldn't care less who you support, nor do I care about aknowledging the fact you can support whoever you want because Belgium is not participating in the World Cup. Did I ever say you were not allowed to support any other nation? No I did not. Did I ever say anything about your direct support of any nation and criticising such a choice? No I didn't. I may have questioned your support of Italy before, but I never said you COULDN'T support them.

:lol2: Sheesh, you're one feebleminded ignoramus.
"Ignoramus" is latin for "we don't know".

Ignoramus is a fag word for, "fuck you, idiot".
Well that's great, but I'm not going to call you "I'm a fucking idiot with no brain cells" when I'm trying to insult YOU. This is idiocy that seems to have survived decaded.

    end of story

anyways, it seemed more or less the Zlatan thread has became Stickyicky's thread. What's his problem?
My point is some random guy with the size of a peanut looked up a word in latin, stumbled upon the verb ignorare and decided to use it. Instead of calling this guy an idiot and beating him to the death, they chose to keep on using his word.

That's the world we live in.
