@Rob:
Sounds like a blast. We have a regular bicycle taxi service in my town. The cool thing is the town is so small that if a drunk "uses" your bike, it will probably find its way back to you before the week is out.

Took me a moment as well. I initially assumed it was a shot down a girl's chest (par for the course on here!), but then remembered it was Erik, and looked a little more closely.
He should change his user title to I got you!

Seven asked me to post this

"MY FIFTEENTH BAN!

On why ONE mod must be a fucktard who doesn't like me (hi Mikhail):

Evidence 1:

- A discussion between Jem83 and me

Jem83: It happens in that split second when the team does something you never thought was possible. You fall in love, in that very instant. Obviously, it hasn't happened for you so just piss off..

Me: Oh fuck off. I fell in love with Del Piero as a football player and I fell in love with the football Juventus represented. No way in hell the team chose me. I chose Juventus, because they were what I was looking for in a team. Start thinking rationally.

Result: I got a warning for "fuck off", Jem83 didn't receive one for "piss off".

Evidence 2:

- Vinman minutes after my banning: "I would like to be the first to congratulate Seven on his 15th ban !!

Result: One would think this less than classy behaviour would have earned him a warning, especially since he hasn't been very gentil on previous occasions either!!!!! But hey whatever makes your day, copper!!!!!!!! Please spank me sir, see that justice is served. Is that your biceps???????? Dear god, it's the size of a mellon!!! Owwwww....beat my hippie ass!!!!

- Vinni once again: "ok, minus Seven whinning like a baby.."
- Yep, Vinni: "you are very misled, Mister 14 bans" No provocation, I guess?
- *sigh* Vinman: "come up with something better, navorsky" Hey, whatever
- Yeah, Vinni: "I also believe you are a weasel :agree:"
- Hehe, this is just too easy, a lawyer really would have no work with you, Vinman:
"but you sir are a EURO-MUTT"
- Vinman: "Its your own fault that you look like a late stage AIDS patient..."
- Vinni: "Everytime you look in the mirror you say "god, why did you make me so ugly ??""

Result: not a single warning. So is it me or does it seem strange that I got banned for saying "fuck" twice? Somehow that stinks like favoritism. Somehow it seems to me that one mod in particular is doing everything he can to get me out, or isn't that so, Mikhail? You're a joke, son. Nonetheless, even if I let your attacks go over me I still shouldn't have been banned as Fli's warning wasn't a real one. Sure, there's always some injustice, but this is ridiculous.

Anyway, I guess you must really not like me, mikhail. I'll consider quitting the forums as I have no desire of going on with this continuous struggle. I never realised you were so petty."

There isn't much market for stolen bicycles around here.

Why does every moron who oversteps the line attack a mod? Take the ban like a man and go sulk for a week.

Yes, Vinny's celebrations every time Seven get banned aren't exactly classy, but they're not against the rules either, while Seven managed to pick yet another fight, a couple of days after his original account was returned to him.

As for Jem83, yes, he did deserve a warning, and has one now. It doesn't mean Seven didn't though.

Well....

As I told Seven on the MSN, It's really such a shame to see him and Vinman (Two quality posters) keep on picking against each-others...

I mean, Seven: You'll get the Fvck back and try not to keep on picking against Vinny man...oh and one thing more, dont say the F word when Mikhail is around:D.

Vinny: Ignore Seven when he's back and act as if He's still banned:D...

In Shepherdstown we don't have public transportation so we have to be innovative to get around safely when drinking. What we do when we get drunk is steal bikes. Then we to go get something to eat, cigarettes, more beer, etc. When we're done with the bike we just leave it on the side of the street and some other drunk bastard uses it. Its funny because during the day you will see random bikes all over town with beer cans and such littered around them.
A friend of mine who used to live in SF's North Beach had something like this happen with her car. She had one of these monster '77 Cadillacs that gets about 10 gallons per mile, complete with easy-access locks. One night she came home and found her car in an odd spot... parked about two blocks from where she remembered parking it. It was late, she'd been drinking, and she knew where her car was, so she forgot about it.

Yeah, plenty of beer cans and stuff were left inside.

A week later her car went missing but turned up some 90 miles away in Stockton. Tifoso Lou still hasn't denied responsibility. ;)

In Shitsville I can understand but in San Fran and North Beach on top of it..hmmm....must be the drunk off the boat Italian waiters at Steps of Rome who needed a quick spot to 'take care of business' with some tourist from (you guessed it) Shitsville, USA who fell for the long hair/accent and recital of the menu in Italian thing....

By the way Swag, where do you usually watch games: North Beach or do the dotcom guys have a secret 'Eyes Wide Shut' minus the babes type secret society where you smoke cigars made of cash and feed bottles of Tignanello to your well groomed canine's :pint:

Nah. Most dot-com guys around here who wear the jerseys as casual weekend attire couldn't tell you Manchester from Munich from Manolo Blahnik. Put them in front of a TV during a match and they're wondering when it's ok to yell, "Touchdown!"

So alas, there are few and far between places to catch Serie A matches. Panta Rei on Columbus St. is a restaurant where the owners actually are into it. Steps of Rome is mostly filled more with faux soccer fans -- they play the soccer card to the extent that it helps fill the long hair/accent and recital of the menu in Italian thing to get into tourists' pocketbooks and panties. Otherwise, I have often come in there asking if they could turn on the Roma-Milan match on RAI Intl, but they're too content with watching infomercials for mechanical nut scratchers instead.

There are a couple of bars, Kezar's Pub near GG Park and Mad Dog In The Fog on Haight, that attract a loyal EPL following. But Serie A is few and far between. So... and unfortunately so ... I almost exclusively watch matches at my house with the comforts of my own espresso machine. :coffee: (Hey, the matches start at 6am on this coast!)

Seven -- if you stumble into a hole, don't get out the shovel, OK?

I and some others thought that some of the warnings you received were a touch harsh... and Fli even retracted his not-posting-in-English warning, putting you at 8 points and technically back under the temp ban limit. But with this response here, you've proven that you've earned every bit of the cooling-off-period temp ban as you now have.
