@Swag - Do you really love Tillie, or are you just messing with me?
"Love" is such a strong word. I prefer :heart2:, whatever the f%#$ :heart2: is supposed to mean. (And not as in, "Tillie gives me a :heart2:-on".)

But yeah -- in his own smarmy, old skool way, I have a soft spot for the scary, buck-toothed, droopy-eyed perv. Everyone needs an Uncle Tillie.

Tillie has been sent to some secret museum.
Undoubtedly somewhere in a cryogenic pit, doing unspeakable things with Walt Disney's frozen head at the speed of molecules at 20-degrees Kelvin.

No, Fli, don't do it! Biggest pieces of shit in the history of the NFL. They are the Inter of the USA, except Inter has actually won something. Except Inter has actually had classy players and coaches at various points in its history.
:agree:

I wholeheartedly second what Pado states here, Fli. The Vikes are not only America's Inter in terms of choking, but they are painfully more obvious at the extremes they will go to self-destruct.

They were a feared outdoor team that ground up their opponents, finishing off what the sub-zero temperatures at their home stadium already did to bring their foes to their knees. Then they went all indoors and got soft, fat, and lazy -- and architected a team around these concepts. And they traded away at least 2-3 SuperBowls to Dallas in exchange for one Herschel Walker, who was supposed to be the one piece to bring that last bit they needed to achieve glory. Instead, they got a Rivaldo in exchange for future Shevchenko, Kaká, and Gattuso draft picks traded to the Cowboys. :wallbang:

I literally hate that team for their utter stupidity. I used to like them many moons ago, but now wish for every evil upon them.

I'm here but I'm adding an extra week to my poll: Jeeks please do the honors...

Dearest Pado, The only place I'm willing to bend your back is at Brokeback.

Dearest Sergio, Until that sad sack of shit York owns our beloved Niners we will remain the Parma of the NFL. However, I still can't believe our Habs lost four in a row....what now?
    Cristobal stays or goes?

Bruce Arena (can't get over how dumb that name sounds) announced his 23-man squad for the world cup, making him the first coach to do so. That's admirable to me, but also a tad risky. Play is still going on all over Europe and although you can still switch injured players up to the very first match of the tournament, those changes usually don't sit very well with the team (compared to just 1 final selection).

    Code:
    Marcus Hahnemann	doelman Reading (Eng)
Tim Howard doelman Manchester Utd. (Eng)
    Kasey Keller doelman Mönchengladbach (Dui)
    Carlos Bocanegra	verdediger	Fulham (Eng)
Steve Cherundolo	verdediger	Hannover 96 (Dui)
Jimmy Conrad verdediger	Kansas City (VS)
Cory Gibbs verdediger	ADO Den Haag (Ned)
Frankie Hejduk verdediger	Columbus Crew (VS)
Eddie Lewis verdediger	Leeds United (Eng)
Oguchi Onyewu verdediger	Standard Luik (Bel)
Eddie Pope verdediger	Real Salt Lake (VS)
DaMarcus Beasley	middenvelder	PSV Eindhoven (Ned)
    Bobby Convey middenvelder	Reading (VS)
Clint Dempsey middenvelder	New England (VS)
Landon Donovan middenvelder	LA Galaxy (VS)
    Pablo Mastroeni middenvelder	Colorado (VS)
John OBrien middenvelder	Chivas USA (VS)
Ben Olsen middenvelder	DC United (VS)
Claudio Reyna middenvelder	Manchester City (Eng)
Eddie Johnson aanvaller	Kansas City (VS)
    Brian McBride aanvaller	Fulham (Eng)
    Brian Ching aanvaller	Houston (VS)
Josh Wolff aanvaller	Kansas City (VS)
I got this list off a Dutch site, but I'm sure you'll all get it...

Alright, I think I've figured it out. Here's how Holland will advance from the group stage:

    Code:
                         Edwin van der Sar

                         Khalid Boulahrouz
André Ooijer Philip Cocu Edgar Davids

Nigel de Jong Mark van Bommel Robin van Persie

Denny Landzaat Ruud van Nistelrooy Arjen Robben
The defence is a serious worry. I wonder how Van Basten will solve it :undecide:

I'd put Heitinga in there, but Van Basten has selected Ron Vlaar over him for whatever god awful reason. Luca Toni is already hoping he can face us with Vlaar in the back 4 again :lazy:

Are you serious? Davids and Cocu in defence? I'd be worried too.
Davids and Cocu started their careers as defenders; they're awesome. I've seen it (they've also played in those positions for the NT several times, doing a good job). Plus, in possession Cocu could move foward into midfield; Boulahrouz, Ooijer and Davids are aggressive enough to fill the gap.

Yeah, altough Cocu wouldn't be that bad as a central defender, but Davids :disagree: You'll be conceding 5 penalties each match. :p
Nah, Davids is only meant to shut down the flank. I just rate him higher than Giovanni van Bronckhorst...

Nick, the Hurricanes won 5 out 5 in Frenchie Town this year.

For that, you need to eat some North Carolina Barbeque. Go on boy, get yer hog on.
Dearest Pado: The Hurricanes won 4 out 4 you mentally challenged cue ball. More over, they won three games in Frenchie Town and one in Shitsville, Carolina. Congratulations ... the bleu, blanc and rouge managed to feck this one up as well. That said, may Rod Brind'Amour have some bad chinese take out in the near future and find himself without toilet paper.

Sergio: Though I am not lucky enough to watch the games and have to be content with highlights it seems Huet did not do all that bad...what is the prognosis for next season?? Is Gainey still behind the bench?? Any players leaving??

Dearest Donny Ballz: We miss you ... where art thou??

    Dearest Burke: keep on truckin

Dearest Swag: Spare a Million...or two?

    Dearest Enron: Stay Gold.

    Dearest Chxta: Where are you??

Bleh, Shell just raised petrol prices with US$ 0.076 to US$ 7.131 per gallon (I took the liberty of converting it).

If they keep this up, I'll have to cycle *shudder*

Davids is indeed better then Van Bronckhorst, especially defensively. Van Bronckhorst is better suited to make runs over the flank.
