So eliminating the two line pass rule and implementing the tag-up offsides rule is turning ice hockey into a mockery? These rules, which, by the way, were set into play to fight off the attempts of unskilled teams that use the system of trapping to beat superior opponents, are making a mockery out of the game? Just because they make the sport more exciting and help destroy these absolutely trashy hockey tactics that destroy the game? Believe it or not, hockey needed rule amendments because this new generation of trapping teams were simply destroying the game. I think it's safe to say I would rather help restore the old hockey instead of letting it waste away under the restraints of boring systems..
Hmm. Well by your logic, the Champions League Final between your beloved side and Milan last year was not only a disgrace to football but also a disgrace to sport in general. For what reason? Because a match of such importance featuring two of the best sides in the world should not have such a free-for-all in front of goal..

Hockey is not supposed to live under chains and systems that restrict the game itself, and over a decade ago the sport flourished with teams such as the Oilers and Islanders playing offensive hockey. Many of the results back then are similar to those seen today...so how, if I may ask, is the scoreline of 5 to 5 a mockery to the sport when one of the greatest generations of hockey played out such games decades ago? Something doesn't add up here, Enron. No pun intended.
