Eventually these things subside...however, he has a terrible reputation for being dirty ... Milan has gotten rid of many players including Edgar Davids and Cosmin Contra for their temper on the field... sometimes it cost them (Davids) but they have a policy of what type of players they want to represent them...its why Costacurta led Gattuso by the collar during the Juve game and escorted him out and why Ancelotti gave him a gentle tap on the head indicating where the exit door was...its also why he will probably never be the Milan Captain
There's a diff between Dirty player and a player that is aggressive....Cosim Contra was Indeed a Dirty player while Davids is just like Gennaro and Alessio Tacchinardi, these players are known to be aggressive not dirty. They can commit fouls or take lot of Cards but thats because they play tough.

Please don't compare the tactics of Gattuso and Davids...Gattuso has been branded agressive and dirty because of the sheer determination and effort he gives in games....Davids is more talented but became useless quicker....he was also the reason for Contra leaving Milan..kind of.
In the Berlusconi Cup of 2002...Davids kicked Gattuso in the ribs while he was stumbling and from behind Contra did the same to Davids...
Contra and Davids argued all the way into the locker rooms as they were both thrown out..
the next week Contra was on his way out..
Davids lasted as Juve (no offense) really don't give two sh*ts about image
Tacchinardi is not agressive...he is negligent..he hacks players down though not as dangerous as Materazzi does...
Then there is just plain unsportsmanlike : Nedved and Poulsen

Gattuso is dirty and reckless just like the rest of the lot...don't use his rampant determination as an excuse for that. Davids and Gattuso are both reckless players and it's nice of you to admit the former was the better player because its the truth.
Are you SURE Juventus doesn't give two shits about image? How come you rarely ever see any of players make absolutely absurd comments to the media, or have a similar situation to that of Roma or Inter where figures such as Figo and Mancini and Totti talk rubbish all the time without any restraint? In fact, compared to a lot of other clubs, we seemingly maintain a decent image in spite of the barrage of all the unproven drug-using stereotypes and referee purchases. That's right, however Capello and Ibrahimovic are starting to tarnish this image a bit too much for my liking. Not to mention completely destroying any hope we have of winning the Champions League..

Anybody here a fan of Jazz? Well, Penn State requires that every student take either a music or art appreciation course, and I decided to sign up for the former. Jazz07. The only thing I have done in that class is study for an hour, thus receiving a 100 on the first exam. What a joke.
Personally I don't find Jazz very enterntaining, however Charlie Parker made some pretty good music at least.
