The story was news, not because she was a white American, but because the main suspect in her rape and murder was the son of a judge, who was promptly released BECAUSE his daddy was a judge.

Also, this weekend 46 rich white boys known as the Duke University Lacross team raped a black dancer they hired for a private party. Actually, only 3 of the 46 raped her, and this after racially abusing her while she danced. My point? The news media is all over this shit, so the coverage is not just reserved for the whites in America, no matter what you might have heard told in Holland.

Lies? Publicity? What lies are the media spewing exactly? The fact of the matter is a girl went missing almost a year ago in a foreign land whose prior investigative experiance was nothing more than finding some thief who stole a necklace from a street vendor. The investigation was slow and inept right off the bat and you cannot chastise the media for jumping on that because it's the truth... the Aruban officials fucked this investigation up from the start and let too much time pass before conducting some important searches. How does a girl just disappear without any trace like that? Surely somebody has information on her disappearance... shame the Arubans are too inept to conduct a proper investigation to uncover some info..

Don't blame the media such errors. I know a bunch of sweet and innocent ladies who become rather wild while intoxicated. But that doesn't mean they should be raped and subsequently "left on a beach" by herself for anybody to take or murder, if she wasn't killed already. What sort of gentleman leaves a girl in such a state by herself on a beach? If Mr. van der Sloot did such a thing, that's enough of a reason to sentence him to having his genitals removed. Either that fuckup or those suspicious Kalpoe brothers must have some information they are not divulging.

The only thing that makes me sad here is the possibility that a murder of a smart and pretty girl will never be solved. If she was pretty and black the storyline would be exactly the same.

And never mind what they might have said in the media in Holland; I barely know (and I never believe them either, anyway). But we get several American news channels over here, and that was the clear impression I got after taking note of about three different channels.

I'm in this camp on this one:

Call me a conspiracy theorist who thinks OJ was innocent (I don't), but if she was pretty and black we'd probably have never heard of her. If JonBenet Ramsey was black, she wouldn't have amounted to anything more than a statistic to the media.

i drink red semi-sweet wine with my dinner if possible,whit wine with sea food.

my fav drink without a doubt is johnny walker blue, but to be enjoyed with some good music after a long day of work.
