There has been no player in Serie A like Shevchenko...top scorer in his rookie season...on board to becoming the top scorer ever and never once bitching or moaning (*cough* ZLATAN) that he did not start or felt threatened by the young Kaka or Gilardino...

Gattuso is all heart and passion and although deep down I know he is loyal to Milan (he is a 3rd generation Milanista) he has one too many times hinted about his passion for the English league or his 'glory days' for those 10 months with the Rangers...probably his memories are much more detailed than the actual experience.
Don't forget that Milan has had 4 captains in the last 40 years...
We don't take these things lightly...

why do insist on mentioning zlatan. i hate the guy. i'd swap him with marcio amoroso. the most overrated twat in modern day football as far as im concerned.


i always preffer that captains are the players of the same nationality as the club if that makes sense. i think that captain of world class italian club should be an italian. and i dont think shevchenko is captain material, he may be a leader when he's playing for ukraine, but milan is a different thing.
