Examples of the negative side of the Mexican population?
In my area, sort of a deep Northwest suburb to the Metropolis of DC and Baltimore, there are many Mexicans who work at Orchards and other small labor jobs. In one county, Franklin county to be specific, there are rising numbers of Mexicans because of the great number of Orchards in the area. Towns such as Chambersburg have recently had a rise in crime due to Mexican gang activity. Furthermore, in a high school where my mom teaches, Mexicans have been causing trouble in the school, not only being a burden for law enforcement but also educators, considering many do not speak English that well. Due to President Bush's No Child Left Behind Act, teachers have to bendover backwards for students who are not doing well, including hispanics, who require extra help. Not to mention the epidemic of no-shows at the school, as some are just not coming all together. What are they doing out of school? God knows. In a city called Frederick the Mexican population is on the rise, and the problems I listed above are here in this area as well. Funny example is the the town mall in Frederick has a high number of loitering in and around the mall, not doing anything in particular. Can't we find jobs people?
Disclaimer: I'm not saying that all Mexicans are bad because many are very good people. It's just that some are not doing much to merit their existence here, and only causing problems. Those are the negatives that I am speaking of. Again, not all Mexicans are like this and some make a difference.
