Back in the roaring early 90's Bill Clinton was rumoured as addressing a fellow congressman with the phrase "It's the economy, stupid", implying that the latter was too blind to spot the real problems at stake.
So, to accurately describe the Mancunian shadow chasing last night, I updated that quote by saying : "It's the economy of movement, stupid", i.e. it's pointless to run like headless chickens : be economical with your energy and focus on ball circulation.
Easiser said than done of course..
