I watched the Juve- Newcastle CL game in an English pub full of Newcastle fans....I thought for sure that me and my brother in-law were going to end up in a fight by the end of the game (DP scored, and we were the only 2 in the pub who were jumping around screaming...and we were the only 2 sober one's there, I'm sure of it !!)
I watched that match in a restaurant in Rome. I worked it so I could get a table right in front of the television, and all was perfect. In the 16th minute Marco Di Vaio went up for a header, clashed heads and the picture froze. It was watching that still image for 30 minutes until the televison was turned off. The match signal never came back and I missed the focking match.

    Vince, Burke Andy:

I apologize for the abrupt termination of the conversation. Seems as though I was talking loud enough for my neighbor to hear…it was like 5 am and she took a shit fit…I had put out that fire and when I got back the system closed.

    Dear Mr Bush,

I am extremely thrilled to know that you are giving a speech less than 500 meters from my place of residence, and that you will spend the night not far at all from here either. I would have recommended the Conrad Hotel myself, but I suppose the American embassy makes you feel more at home.

However, allow me to kindly ask you to use MSN Messenger or Skype next time you need to deliver an important message to the EU and NATO leaders.

That way I won't have to walk 2 kilometers to find a metro station that isn't closed for the next 2 days.

That way the city centre won't be barricaded for 4 hours because Laura has decided to go drink a glass of Belgian beer with the Queen.

That way I won't have to worry about falling into the line of fire of the sniper stationed on my apartment block when I go to the grocery shop.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Regards,

    A disgruntled European.

The idea is very good and would save millions in the security logistics, re-routing public transport and having hordes of staff on hand HOWEVER, if he used MSN or SKYPE then should some jack ass decide to yell something like “JOG ON” or “Buffone, fatti processare” President Bush will not be able to have his Security team PICK him out of the crowd and sue him.
