Wouldnt it be cool if the Super Bowl ended up being Pittsburgh - Philadelphia? you know being both teams from the same state and all...
It would be the greatest Super Bowl ever. The battle of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, as they call it.

Isn't a Minnesota Vikings hand-warmer an oxymoron?

This a team that went from the Purple People Eaters to the Pampered Heated-Indoor Mall Walkers...

My respect for that team went out the window ever since they become a bunch of domers... (that and when they traded several Super Bowl trophies to Dallas in exchange for Herschel Walker).

:D
Not a fan, ey? I'm not down with the domes either, it's not the same as outdoor stadiums and definetly not in touch with the Vikings name.

You a Niners fan? :)

I was once a much bigger fan. The whole dome thing turned me off. Took the team's image from this feared monster of the northern tundra -- the quintessence of Minnesota in the winter -- to some climate-controlled, plastic grass team that visiting teams no longer feared travelling to.

You a Niners fan? :)
In small part. But as a reflection of the above, and as a fourth-generation Chicagoan, I'm primarily a long-time Bears fan. Which has generally been at least as pathetic as the Niners this season. (Ouch, those Abe Gibron years of the early 70s...)
