The defense is slow, Zebina is horrible and a hack. Juve is fortuante that Milan couldn't put away any chances last night. Our defense is constantly backpedaling and falling into a compact unit inside the box. What its doing is giving the oppositions midfileders more than enough space to roam outside the box and create chances.

Also, from what I saw last night, Thuram and Cannavaro are dead tired. They are simply being reactive, making tackles and disposessing balls once the opposition is in the box, not being pro-active and actually going out there and making the tackle and pushing the ball up the field to our midfielders, who by the way, were absolutely pathetic last night, except for the first two minutes by Camoranesi. Its Mid-December, and no other defenders have had even a sniff of playing time in important matchups.

The time for trying to build cohesion is over. Now is the time to start incorporating some of the other defenders back there to keep Thuram and Cannavaro fresh.

look at the time of possesion and the amount of time spent in juve's zone in Milan's favor. The defense just falls back and lets the attack come to them, then tighten up and hope that the opposition is off the mark, which luckily Milan happened to be.

There is no doubt that Milan dominated that match, and deserved a victory. no moral victories here this week, boys and girls. Bullshit. They were playing in OUR HOUSE with 70,000 supporters in OUR HOUSE, and they made Juve look like a relegated Serie B squad.

Absolutely embarrasing. Either the midfield, and i'm talking the WHOLE midfield and Zlatan get their heads out of their collective asses or Real is going to drop 5 goals on us in February and we are once again going to be looking up at Milan in the Scudetto standings at the same time.

no chemistry between the midfield and our attackers, too much one-on-one play for Zlatan, not enough touches for DP, an exhausted duo of Thuram and Cannavaro lead to a bitter end of the season for these guys. Oh yes, keep in mind that Milan was without Stam and Maldini last night, and there was STILL nothing that could Juve could do on offense. How do you think Juve would fare without Thuran and Zambrotta for a match as big as this? Milan is also FAR superior to juve as far as depth is concerned. Actually its not even that funny when you think about it.

Its even better if you have the TeleLatino package, which now includes ESPN Deportes, they are guaranteed to show it.

If I have to handicap it right now, I would say that all three Italian teams will advance, with Inter having the easiest road.

But the classic was Nedved KICKING Cafu and falling in the process and being awarded a free kick: Yet another NEDDY show of class.

ADDITION: TWO OF MY PISS BOMBS hit the target: One on a fine Juventina giving me the finger throughout the game and another on two dopeheads trying to re-invent the bomb with a turd bomb (true) ... they got a nice backsplash on their necks.

    1. He says Nedved lacks class; and

    2. Then shows his own class by throwing his urine on people.

WHERE IN MARTHA STEWART'S BOOK OF ETIQUETTE DID YOU LEARN THAT THIS IS ACCEPTABLE HUMAN CONDUCT?

BUT..his class has ALWAYS been questionable...his dives put Greg Louganis to shame.
That one yesterday was really unsportsmanlike.
Nedved was put to shame by Crespo. Neddy should never dive when that master is on the pitch. Crespo is the worst diver of the first 16 rounds that I have witnessed, and you want to talk about sportsmanship????

Crespo's flop in front of Buffon's goal early in the second half had the Gol TV commentators both laughing and calling for his dismissal, and those guys really don't like Juve.

Reasoning out of your ass again, Sergio? This comment suggests that you believe Real Madrid to be a better side than Milan. Surely you did not mean to suggest that. Milan is a much stronger side than Real Madrid based on this season's form to date.

Sergio, I cannot believe you think Real Madrid would score 5 goals against us because we suck in attack. No matter what anybody says or thinks, it is obvious we have the best defense in the world. With the God damn ball on our side of the pitch for 75% of the Milan match, holding them at bay, I'd say that speaks for itself. The problem against Real, if we continue playing like high school teams in attack, will be scoring goals and keeping possession.

I agree that our side is lacking cover in many positions, and people cannot help to get exhausted. The problem is that Capello does not want to take the chance fielding Legrottaglie and Montero because they are absolutely horribe. I do not understand why Capello had to field our top defensive players in the final two CL Group Stage matches. He should have played the Legro and Montero in both to give Cannavaro and Thuram a rest. That was a mistake.

And I think I have seen ENOUGH touches from Del Piero. It is his job to get the touches if he is not getting them, simply by dropping back into midfield. But whenever he did that, he would lose the ball. It was a joke. I PRAY that Moggi buys a new striker in January, because Del Piero is complete rubbish. If we are to win something this year, with these current tactics, we need to cancel Del Piero OUT of the equation, and bring somebody in that actually makes sense with the damn ball.

This was by far the toughest match of the season, and its obvious that we discovered work needs to be done. Milan is the best team in the world at the moment, so of course we would have trouble with them. But it cannot get much worse than this.

And by the way, since our defense held Milan at bay, we deserved a draw. Milan might have deserved to win because of the possession and attacks they had, but the result is the result. I'm sick of this biatching, pissing and moaning about calls, results, and what not. This is football people.

I'm not *****ing or moaning about calls, that's not what I do.

And as far as me saying that Real Madrid would drop 5 goals on us in February, think about this. The january transfer season will be upon us in a matter of weeks. Knowing Juve's history and knowing Real's history, whom out of the two squads do you think will do whatever it takes to get the best available talent who is cup eligible to shore up any deficiencies? If you said Juve, then you haven't been reading your football history.

The Real Madrid squad that Juve will be facing in February will be very different (most likely) than the side that is only now starting to hit its stride in the Champions league and la Liga. Meaning they could be even better. I'm not saying that Real Madrid is better than Milan........................................as of right now.

This current Juve squad is spread very thinly, far too thinly for my tastes, and if God forbid Thuram or Cannavaro are out for an extended period of time, then Juve is dead, plain and simple. A supposed elite team is not supposed to be so dependent on one central defence pairing without any suitable replacements if either one of them gets hurt. Yet here we are holding our collective breaths every time we see Canna or Thuram go down clutching their leg or their knee. What I wouldn't do to have a Costacurta type player as a backup. Milan sure didn't miss a beat without 2 of their 4 starting defenders.

Again, with everyone saying that Juve deserved a draw. Juve was at FULL STRENGTH for this match,or at least in a much healthier state than Milan was in, in their home, in front of 70,000 people, in their biggest match of the year so far, and truly had an opportunity to make a statement on Sunday.

    yeah, they sure did.

Their statement was "Not ready for prime time just yet."
