I like Bleach, Nevermind, and In Utero. And yes -- there are a very few cuts, like Oh The Guilt, that are solid (I'd disagree on prolific noodlings of Clean Up Before She Comes, Blandest, and They Hung Him on the Cross). But it hardly supports the filler on the rest of it.

Music labels are incredibly cynical when it comes to repackaging re-released material in this manner. A lot of cuts released in this fashion are little more than mistakes that take on a "posthumous " life of their own by the music labels ... and they are targeted to the tunnel-vision fans who think more is necessarily better. Fans who are treated like the five-year-olds who would watch a DVD of The Little Mermaid 7 38 times before even considering branching out a little.
Why isnt more better? No ones saying its better than they;re album material. But its still good sometimes great music. The fans have wanted this album for 10 years so its not like the record company have pushed it. The live performances are great, not everyone got to see them live. The DVD is even great. I like it alot because I really like Nirvanas acoustic songs and this has almost all the nirvana songs in acoustic version.

    For the most part....

Have a good week-end everyBODY..I am heading NORTH (Milan) tomorrow morning for till late late Sunday for the INTER-JUVE match-up. Some friends got EXCELLENT TRIBUNA tickets...problem is its the "gentlemans" section: NO CURSING, NO THREATS, NO GENETICALLY ALTERED PEARS CREATED FOR THROWING (ROTTEN STEMS and HARD BOTTOMS) i.e. NO FUN...oh well at least I can get a laugh from the Gobbi's riding this wave of excitement and Inter realizing its a DOG EAT DOG WORLD and their wearing milk bone underwear.

Im the original dammit. I had this place upside down long before River even entered the picture and my mess was much bigger  I made River.

    Im the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And why the hell would I need to be a match with River anyway when shes my best friend? Are you gonna talk to her on msn or something? She hasnt been online in a month yet you talked to her 'recently'. Infact River told me she spoke to you TWO times!!! This is just becoming embarassing for you and me so please stop.

ON A MUCH MORE IMPORTANT NOTE THAN ME BEING THE BEST... I just bought Nirvana box set 'With the lights out'. Im going to turn the lights out and listen to it for a few days without stoping. :D
You want your place at the top ????

    1 simple solution :

    POST YOUR PICTURE !!!!!

(I never got to see the first one you posted, and many others havent either)

If you look anything like the Riv, you'll be an idol in here with all the youngsters

IF you look as good as the Riv....................

For the same reason that eating 7 Big Macs isn't necessarily better than eating one fantastic meal for the equivalent price from a talented chef.

Nirvana aside, there are bands that are incredibly prolific and record almost anything -- Howe Gelb's Giant Sand, the Magnetic Fields, and Ryan Adams to name a few. And while I think all three are capable of making songs of incredible brilliance, they all lack quality control and release a lot of half-baked filler too. And my time spent listening to music is too precious to waste on every burp, scratch, and fart that an artist wants to record... there's too much else to listen to that's far more deserving of my attention.

My brain is starting to put together a weird SAT analogy question...

Emma is to Cobain like ...
    a) Many Juventuz posters are to the 1996 version of Alex Del Piero
    b) Democrats are to Clinton
    c) Andy is to River

    ;)

No im not, maybe to Axl Rose :D

I know what you mean in regards to an album being released thats full of filler. But when a rarities and demos box set is released, being annoyed at it for being full or rarities and demos! I just cant figure that out :D Nevermind ;)

Vinman, having seen pictures of both River and Emma, I can say that both look good, but I give the edge to River. However, judging by their internet personalities, both are despicable human beings, the kind that might make you think about shooting them in a dark alley and throwing down another gun you had "borrowed" from some drug dealer you arrested and "forgot" to report. :D

O.K., maybe that's what I was thinking about.

Don't mean to go in depth here, but River seems more wild than Emma, while the latter seems more layed back. I cannot, though, give the edge to anyone in terms of looks, it's just personal taste. But if I had to give an answer, Emma would win, as she is more of my type. :cheesy:

Im nothing like River. In real life im not this annoying, forward and agressive. In real life River dosent go around beating people up or something :D, shes as laid back as someone can be but she just has a low tolerance level, ok very low. ;)
