Abstract

Discovering the degree to which potential errors and uncertainties collectively affect the accuracy of light-use and production efficiency model predictions can improve measurement of global plant production and storage of carbon by terrestrial ecosystems. The primary outputs from our model include Gross Primary Production (GPP) from a light-use efficiency equation and ecosystem respiration (ER), along with measurements of Net Ecosystem Exchange of CO2 (NEE) performed by use of the eddy covariance flux tower. With the calculated parameters, Net Ecosystem Productivity (NEP) was computed using the light-use efficiency model in years 2000 and 2002, fixing the parameters of both years so to find as much agreement possible between the two. Finally, for the test year of 2001 with the caterpillar disturbance, we applied the fixed model parameters to compute the NEP for 2001 and compared the observations (specifically, NEP = -NEE). The experiment yielded a close 1:1 correspondence between observed -NEE and modeled NEP for all years (Figure 10), thus demonstrating that the model parameters were robust. Furthermore, our simple light-use and production efficiency models were capable of predicting daily exchange of carbon within a range of about ±2 g C m-2 d-1. The discovery of a close 1:1 correspondence between -NEE and modeled NEP portrays that the light-use and production efficiency model predictions are fairly accurate and can be trusted within ±2 g C m-2 d-1, thus providing the field of study a range of error suitable for analysis.

its time to fire coach Callahan and give him a big FUCK YOU for giving us 4 seasons of mediocrity

he has fucked your program so badly that it will take at least a decade to get back on track. the west coast offense is the most homosexual scheme ever, and what makes it worse is that ppl think it is better than the option which is completely absurd. bill callahan cannot use the excuse that he didnt have the personnel or any other bullshit. i hope he never coaches again personally. to get banged in the ass that badly at home this past saturday is humiliating and almost criminal on callahans part, and then having the balls to say that he's not coaching scared or afraid of losing his job. what a solid pooner, oh ya and btw the last time nebraska bent over and took it so hard was against my canes in the 01 rose bowl for the title. even i miss eric crouch, frazier, phillips, etc... cuz that was an offense that worked and the best part was that you knew it was coming but there was nothing you could do to stop it.

I was told that I was to make an appearance...

For the last six I was theorozing that one could time-travel within his own lifetime, so I led an elite group of scientists into the Albanian desert, to develop a top-secret project known as LawnChair Leap. Pressured to prove the theories or lose funding, I prematurely stepped into the project accelerator, and vanished...

I awoke to find myself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not my own. Fortunately, contact with my own time was maintained through brain-wave transmissions with Lillianna, a Greek , who appears in the form of a hologram, that only I can see and hear. Trapped in the past, I found myself leaping from life to life, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that my Leap will be the Leap home.
