tell me someone how is it that Andy and Burke can get away with racist jabs against seven the whole time? I dont know if people let it slide because it just makes them looks like they have massive cases of xenophobia and secretly snigger, or they just don't notice. If its the former, a word of advice to you guys: To win an arguement or a battle properly and retain dignity, it's best to avoid "ist" pokes to insult someone. " you are fat " or " you come from belgium " is not a comeback. If it's the latter, would someone do something about it.

I have ancestry from Germany, Holland and Poland. I'm sure many Belgians have the same sort of deal. A lot of people throw around the term racism too easily and this is another one of those instances. Absolutely pathetic how someone can equate nationalism to racism because afterall many families in this country originate from Europe, not to mention Britain of course. Is every jibe at the state of English dental care a racist taunt and should be considered racism?

Give me a fucking break, Paul. Hector is a little white cracker.
Whilst I agree that nowdays racism is thrown around like a hot potato, calling someone waffles or using any indication of their country against them as a term of mockery qualifies racism. Go up to a german and call him Wurst or a Turk person and call him Kebab, or an Italian and call him Pizzaface or whatever plethora of insults you can muster and you will be smacked in your face in the future and be called a racist.

Having ancestry from somewhere is not an excuse.. I have all kinds of mixed blood and family, some I feel closer to and some not, but I don't go around saying the spanish are *insert insult here* because I have a spanish uncle, or I dont say the Irish are all drunks, and say its ok cos my sister is married to one so I'm allowed, or say all Italians are greasy wops cos my mother (and I) is one.

and saying all belgiums are fake is NOT nationalism. Nationalism is supporting your country in football or when it goes to war or what have you, but calling someone waffles or whatever you've called seven in the past relating to his country is racism. Understand the difference? I also don't understand how people were equating "nationalism to racism" and how familys with euro roots living in America has anything to do with anything.

and just so you know,English dental care nowdays is just fine and the stereotype arose as far as I know when we sailed to your country to colonise you and got scurvy along the way.

To summarize, I said it before to you: Just stop being so race orientated for once.

IT'S AN UNMODDED THREAD DAN, WE CAN SAY WHATEVER WE WANT HOWEVER WE WANT!
How does this thread being unmodded make racism acceptable... It has no place anywhere

Just today i have read a couple of posts i would say were racist about the english and belgians and numerous posts i would call racist aimed at mexicans...

Its not right and to me i wonder how any supposed decent human being in this day and age can see it as being acceptable...

Whilst many here are used to it from certain posters and jus ignore it (though that is equally wrong) I know of several posters/potential posters who have left the forum due to it or have not registered because of it.

Its destroying the place as the hateful bile spouted about other clubs and players is... its in my view disgusting

What a bunch of fucking nonsense.

When Burke or I pokes a little fun at Belgium, which is obviously in a JOKING fashion, it's considered racism. But when Seven labels all Americans idiots or comes up with some ridiculous hypothesis about how Americans are substandard to the rest of the world in terms of being civilized and educated... not to mention gun-loving and war mongering, that is perfectly fine by you and not considered racism whatsoever. Seven can waltz around these parts spewing nonsense such as only Americans value American lives more than other nationalities and have an obcession for killing people, but when I say Seven isn't a good waffle-maker, that's just a horrendous statement that is purely racist and should be castigated.

Listen here, Dan. I don't give a fuck if it's racist or not. People can walk around blasting Americans and labelling us all as idiots all they want, and by your definition of racism I suppose that's a racist sentiment as well. But the fact of the matter is, nobody here has made a stink about racism towards America because it's fucking idiotic... you can attribute almost anything to racism if we use that term so goddamn liberally.

But alright, I'm obviously expressing my racist beliefs when I say Hector isn't a good waffle-maker, which is absolutely not comparable to how Seven insinuated average Americans are better dead than alive. Go fuck your mother. The hypocrisy on here is ridiculous but all too common.

Again you making a stink about this when the abuse is aimed at you and citizens of other countries. But when Jaecole and your British counterparts started aiming nonsense at all Americans, you didn't take any offense whatsoever.

But I suppose that's what sells papers, doesn't it Paul.

I have never said whether sevens or anyone elses comments about america were right or wrong... I was never asked.

Today you asked me and i answered

For your info i aint british

lets also not forget your own double standards here... Apparently its fine to make jibes about the english or quips at belgians etc but only a couple of weeks ago you were whinging about someone on another forum calling italians greasy... and yes you used the word racism...

Similarly with your comments towards the likes of badass (or whatever his fucking name is) and his continual anti-inter bullshit, yet you have been doing the same and worse for years in reference to english clubs and their fans... especially manu.... Double standards

Labelling Italians greasy is an actual racist statement as it gathers the whole Northern Mediterranean race and exploits the biological facets of said people as a taunt. That is not the same as saying Seven is a bad waffle-maker or Italians are calcio crazy. What you're doing here is having a fit over statements that are potentially politically incorrect despite the fact it's not really considered racism.

But I'm talking facts here. And the fact is that you never express your sorrow when supposed "racist" (by your definition) jibes are aimed at citizens of the United States. To be honest, I don't really care because this sort of hypocrisy is common in today's world, but if you're going to make a point Paul... make sure there are no discrepancies within your personal history on this forum. It's rather suspicious when you chime in at times when Americans are not the target of this supposed "RACIST" abuse.

Thats jus bullshit and not worth commenting on... uneducated nonsense

Sorry but no... The only times i have commented on supposed racist comments has been when comments i have felt to be racist have been aimed at my own people... Not anyone elses.. america or otherwise... the only time i have commented on another nation is tonight... when in your post you basically asked if i thought certain comments were racist. unless asked (or dragged into) why would or should i comment on comments made about other nations than my own... and obviously i am gonna say something if jibes are aimed at mt own.
