What does this Padovano fansite have? I wish I could see it, but AOL is too damn slow

btw Andy, I can see the type 4 hurricane from here, I have to evacuate tomorrow!
Yeah its coming for you Fabi. I suspect it will make landfall just north of Miami, with the stronger winds on the south side of the storm. Meaning, that its gonna be hell for the area. Forget Hurricane Andrew. :D

How was it?
It wasn't that bad I guess. I love the freedom we have, and not being stuck in classrooms all day. The clases I will take, especially English honors and Economics, seem to be my toughest but aren't undo-able.

A hurricane is just a big, strong storm. The sky turns black and you see rain in the distance. It gets really loud and windy. That's about all I noticed, because we booked it out of there.
The strongest part of a hurricane is not the center, as this part of the storm is called the "eye", where the center of circulation exists. If you are located under the eye of the storm, there is no rain or clouds above, so you are able to see sunlight or stars, depending on whether its night or day. Just outside of the eye lays the eyewall, where the strongest winds and rains are located. For Frances, these winds will be in excess of 140 mph in the eyewall, and about 100 mph winds can be expected 60 miles outward from the eyewall. Any more questions my students? :D

My city was destroyed by a hurricane in 1996. I was without electricity for 10 days. We have had several more come through since then, and we are 150 miles from the coast! I do not wish to see anymore hurricanes.

Which Hurricane was that? Was it Floyd? Anyways, I would love to have a first-hand experiance of the force of Nature.

No, Andy, it was Fran. Floyd came one or two years later and completely destroyed Eastern North Carolina, but Raleigh was spared Floyd's wrath. Fran was the one that got us.

I was at the beach in August and Hurricane Alex just missed us, hitting the island to the North. We dodged a bullet on that one, even though Alex was not too bad of a storm.

is that why you moved to lithuania?

o/t. injury of which player you mean in you sig?
Fli, I moved to Lithuania to be near my wanking friend and to see some decent basketball. As for my sig line, I am referring to anybody in the forward line since we don't have much depth.
