Quite pleased to read this morning's paper and see that the Canadians voted in a Conservative government. Apparently, some things on the Conservative Governments agenda is:
- Much greater co-operation with the U.S. on the war on terror.
- Joint task force to be created to help fight the terror threat on the North American border.

I'm quite pleased to see that those bleeding heart liberals also got their arses handed to them on a silver platter up North...maybe now it will not be such a safe haven/ops center for terror cells.

I don't know enough about the history of Canadian politics to really give a clear cut opinion however, from the little I do know it seems that the liberals have always had a strong hold on both Toronto and Montreal. It is a minority government so it was obviously not a sweep however after what 13 years of Liberal rule it is certainly a change.
