the netherlands are sweet, i woke up "lost" thinking i was in france, got out of the car and wandered into this gas station to hear a guy shout "fluggen--soemthing---agenmeister---- i dont know" , i was pretty fucking scared. so i bought some "znek" apples and carrot balls and asked the guy what the hell country i was in(how american), then ran back to the car to hide from the scary tall dutch guys in orange construction jackets eating meatballs

Erik: I have not been in the Nordic nations or Germany long enough to comment on these respective nations. I have only passed through as a visiting fan in CL matches. That said, despite its flaws and obstacles the Italian way of life/life style is most condusive to my personality and character. Italians (and other Europeans) know how to make the most of a night out...a week-end and enjoy simple things like a good meal better than most of my fellow countrymen. In the U.S. we love to complain whether dining at Denny's or at Nobu ..... we do not have the ability to enjoy the 'offerings' of life.
If I would have to choose I would probably live in London for some time as I really liked the VIBE of the city when I was there.
That said, I am happy to report that I will be leaving for the OLD COUNTRY tomorrow AM back to hurling piss balloons and dedicating my time to surfing the web all on the back of the greatest NGO of all.

Happy New Years to all...here is to a healthy, happy and successful 2006: to you and yours.

I'd agree with most of that. I say most because I've never been to the States and obviously can't comment on them as such

Welcome back then and happy new years to you too :pint:

Best wishes to all of you. Even when the rest of the forum bores me (as it does more and more frequently), the members who frequent this thread are worth checking back for. Happy 2006, may your dreams be realised!
