Of course
Amazing book, that. Brilliant, yet as St Thomas was dying he said it was all like a child's book. Leaves one stunned.

Not at all... Maybe you need to open your mind beyond your current boundaries
Not at all. ;)

I like my boundaries, actually. They keep me focused. It might be said that a lack of boundaries is Modernisms greatest drawback.

By believing in everything, one ends up believing in nothing.

No. no no , lou... Not believing.... Listening, taking on board, inwardly digesting... Accepting, but not believing , being open to all trains of thought, drawing knowledge from other sources, seeing when the elastic breaks.... Believing has no relevance here....

As a man of Christian faith, can i ask, Have you read the Qu'Ran ?

Oh you love it really....

Yeah.

You wear people out until they lose all will and patience to argue any further.

Not saying it's a bad thing, just slightly annoying ;)

But you know I like you  :D

Also you talk about "gods Will" to help etc... Tell me about the plagues... where does that fit into the equation

We live in a fallen world. We chose to turn away....which was our free will. If He comes in and fixes every problem, we will no longer have either free will (ie if it was 100% apparent to everyone of God's existance, we wouldn't be having this discussion), or Faith (belief in a thing not seen) for that matter.

Think of it this way: do you trust your grown child to make her own decisions, or do you step in and make all her decisions for her? Those are the two options, basically. In option 2, you have made your child a robot essentially; in option 1, you certainly risk your child being hurt, but growing in the process. Most parents would choose 1. So did He. :)

lol...

Maybe people should learn to roll over and die and save the suffering
Indeed.

In the future I'll treat you like a bear: if I see you coming and there's no escape I'll just roll over and play dead :D ;)

Who's to say he even cares?

All of it, no? Some of it, yes.
