I just pulverized three short espresso compliments of ILLY in a coffee can so if you can't handle the rant don't read....

PATHETIC.

2. I am supposed to believe that Del Piero who was twice on the Golden Ball voters list suddendly goes from Presidente to Niente all because of an injury..yet he still manages to NEVER miss an International competition (he might of well have...well I admire him for many things his international exposure in tournaments is on par with friggin Casiraghi) and suddendly when Johhny "Zeman" Whispers begins talking about EPO and the Juve administration his game changes 180 degrees.
Then I am supposed to LAUGH and think "oh those damn consipiracy theorists" at the following:
-Juve accused of administring performance enhancing drugs to its players in its MOST successfull period: 1995-1996.
-Juve doctor and g.m. brought to trial: players testify, health reports showing abnormal levels of everything from Iron to white blood cells is presented. Agricola contradicts himself time and time again.
-Juve's stance is that THE DOCTOR himself administered these drugs on his own doing....of course...because he had soo much to gain right??? Why not out of the blue start a system where I administer banned substances to my players .. not for the benefit of the team or $$ but for my own KICKS.
-Looking back we realize...wait...fvck me but Vialli, Ravanelli, Del Piero, Conte and Tacchinardi were QUITE the players once upon a time .. suddendly, two are shipped to England....the other two went from national team to a) one becoming a butcher and the other a sub and the heir to the throne is suddendly lacking enough confidence to take a whizz on his own.
-Come to think of it..nevermind Del Piero....anyone notice the difference BESIDES hair in Vialli PRE-JUVE? Its like the bald Vialli swallowed the Samp. Vialli or bench pressed him for a week straight.

How is a fan supposed to stand back and laugh at these accusations and say "its a load of horsesh*t" .. its all Zeman's doing...

Guess what....WE have the SERIE B thing (our team was more corrupt than Jimmy Hoffa) and you have the EPO thing....

don't laugh it off...swallow the pill...it will make you a more appreciative fan.
Very amusing the way you presented EPO Juve case. It is clear that you are a lawyer and im shure a great one... "Alan Shore" style;)

But the fact is that , even with the desfavorable sentence in the Torino Tribunale, The TAS considered the evidence against Juventus as NO CONCLUSIVE and dismiss the alternative of taking any Sporting punishments against the team( at least until now), meaning that Agricola is still held responsible to the italian law, but internacionally the team could be not despossesed of the titles won in the years of question.

But i feel your irrefrenable need to "buttare fango a la Juve" and bragg about a suposed Milan superiority is just your way to try to convince others of something your not really convinced, because...

IMHO, your respect and admire Juventus very much, but obviously, you cant recognize it openly. No problem, we understand....

And the facts remains the same .....WE OWN SERIE A, like it or not.....

Paul could probably correct me here....
I can , but on this occasion i wont...

The whole doping issue is something important to me that i have researched and written about in great detail over the years, especially within cycling... (and of course the juve trial)

Too many times on this board we have broached this subject in one way or another...

Every time it is turned into a complete joke rather than the worthwile discussion it could be, by people posting completely innaccurate information concerning the topic as if their incorect posts are facts... which they arent, then when people do post the facts... they are written off as bullshit... its a joke...

Jus look at the doping trial... Virtually everyone who has posted on the subject clearly didnt follow the trial but for the odd internet snippets... As such the majority of posts on the subject are completely innaccurate, jus showing a complete lack of knowledge or understanding as to what it was all about.... what subjects were debated, what evidence was produced, how it was / wasnt refuted.... etc etc

A perfect example of this is the way posters continually bring creatine into the subject... Which as anyone that actually followed the trial knows... has absolutely nothing to do with the trial whatsoever... A product that was only mentioned on a couple of occasions and only then by players on the stand recounting all products they "knowingly" took whilst at juve (or in response to)... a nothing part of the trial....

Not once have i actually seen a single poster discuss or confront the actual evidence used or the issues that were raised at the trial...

Another example of this is the treatment of Zeman... Again a clear case of reading "quotes" from the press or soundbites on tv....

Never from actually reading the full statements / interviews he made throughout the years, from his original whispers til full statements to investigators etc etc...

If people knew what he actually said in the first place... and why / how it got turned into this "supposed" mission against juve there wouldnt be any of this crap posted....

I jus wish people would actually research some of this stuff before posting all the uneducated , biased, hateful crap...

As such, as someone that actually has an interest in the subject at hand, I will no longer post on said subject...

Walking from the Web2.0 conference back to my office, I got strafed again by Navy fighter jets. Which usually means only one thing: looks like the Blue Angels are in town again for their annual ritual...

To our defence here, Paul:

I was the only one who mentioned it and I even said it didn't have much to do with the issue at hand, but that it was often referred to as being dangerous.

1. FVCK the LEAFS...those sad sacks of shit are worse than INTER...they buy and buy and they whine "this is the year" more than any Interista in the month of August yet EVERY DAMN YEAR its the same story...out in 5.
At least Inter have 1989...the LEAFS have not won a CUP SINCE 1967
I wouldn't go down on Leafs fans so hard if they didn't open their mouths and BE-LITTLE my team (The Canadiens)....what DON'T they realize?
The Canadiens have won the cup 24 times
The Canadiens have had the greatest stars bar none.
The Canadiens have last won the Cup in 93, 86 before that AND 8 times before that ...thus 10 cups since while the LEAFS have not won a damn thing.

PATHETIC.

No one said Juve was clean in those years. What isn't true though is the direct connection between gaining muscle and using doping. That on itself can be a symptom, but is definitely not the evidence you make it out to be.

I wasnt referring to this particular conversation... Jus in general over the years this subject has been talked of on many occasions here and time after time people go on about the likes of creatine etc etc... Rather than what the issue's actually are / were

Agreed.

I don't know that much about the subject, although I did watch some documentaries and have always tried to follow it. I've always wondered about how most people would make Juventus look like criminals because they used creatine. Even Zidane's partially to blame for that. You can't really blame people for constantly thinking about creatine when it comes to Juve's trial, because practically every sports paper had "Zidane: I took creatine" as its cover at some point, even if that's completely irrelevant.

Here is one of those threads that illustrate what Paul is talking about...unfortunately there was very little meaningful discussion at the time, yet again.

http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9781&perpage=20&display=&pagenumber=1

And what I do not understand is why some fans say we should keep all those Titles even if there was conclusive evidence showing that we indeed were using banned substances at the time and it effected our performances. If it was proven as fact it would be greedy and unfair to just call the Titles our own, however that is another story. I was not able to follow the trial, obviously, so my opinions about the subject could be off by some margin.

About Zeman, I must admit months ago I was not his biggest fan and was probably too harsh on him, however I really do not like his demeanor and the way he has made a name for himself after putting the subject of doping on the table. I could not stand his "holier than thou" attitude he showed when talking with the media and during the confrontations he had with Lippi.

PAUL: I'm not sure which FOOTBALL FACTORY version I have...I purchased the DVD in London..so its probably not the unedited version or whatever.
The uk released dvd isnt the better version... You should look out for it... imo a much better / smoother / funnier version of the film.

I have seen the REVOLVER trailer...I thought Lock, Stock was fvckin awesome....Snatch was a more expensive version of Lock, Stock and the Swept Away (no comment)...any release dates for the U.S.?
Sometime in jan i think...

Dont expect anything like lock stock or snatch... As i said if you like films that make you think and dont give you all the answers... its great imo

Having said that , i can understand why many didnt like it

Personally I thought some of Hornby's ideas and theories about being a 'fan' in Fever Pitch were spot on ... the type of book that is a good read after your team is up 3-0 at half time and goes on to lose the match.
Agreed... I jus didnt particularly like his writing style...

By the way Paul...you familiar with Il Barone?? I always tried to convince him to write a book ....
:)

DENVER AIRPORT

For all of you out there who've had to deal with an irate customer, this one is for you.

An award should go to the United Airlines gate agent in Denver for being smart and funny while makingher point when confronted with a passenger who probably deserved to fly as cargo.

A crowded United Airlines flight was canceled.

A single agent was re-booking a long line of inconvenienced travelers. Suddenly an angry passenger pushed his way to the desk. He slapped his
ticket on the counter and said "I HAVE to be on this flight and it has to be FIRST CLASS."

The agent replied, "I am sorry, sir. I'll be happy to try to he lp you, but, I've got to help these folks first, and I'm sure we'll be able to work something out.

The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly, so that the passengers behind him could hear, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?"

Without hesitating, the agent smiled and grabbed her public address microphone, "May I have your attention please, " she began, her voice heard clearly throughout the terminal. "We have a passenger here at Gate 14 WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS. If anyone can help him find his identity, please come to Gate 14."

With the folks behind him in line laughing hysterically, the man glared at
the United agent, gritted his teeth and swore "**** You! ". Without flinching, she smiled and said, I'm sorry sir, you'll have to get in line for that too.”

There seems to be a situation in New York City. Officials have just raised the terror alert for the subway system in the city...a news conference is scheduled for 5:30.
