Incredible. A disaster happens and what is the first thing Americans on this forum do? Start acting cocky. "Let's see how much money we get this time around." Be sorry instead of arrogant, please. What a sickening attitude.
Why don't you read through all the discussions on this disaster instead making assumptions?

We don't care about the opinion of a person who wants another 9/11 to happen just to spite Bush.

All I'm reading is Americans asking themselves how much they will get now that they're the nation that suffers from a disaster. Please focus on the disaster itself.

And stop being so arrogant, Andy. You, and America with you, will eventually pay for your arrogance. It's main reason why America is hated so much around the globe.

We are not exactly stuck in the Superdome or waiting to see what become of our homes...New York, Carolina, Rhode Island, Buffalo are not exactly disaster areas. Apart from send money and water, etc. there is not much more for us to do.
This is a forum and people discuss....when Tsunami's hit...earthquake's hit or floods destroy far away villages the U.S. agencies mobilizes and collects donations in numbers that are quite impressive. When critics pick through the U.S. Foreign Policy they like to highlight U.S.'s stance on "eradicate third world debt" or its "foreign aid". Added to that we have many people living below the poverty line who need help year round and have to grin and bear to watch their nation send billions overseas while not addressing problems at home.
So Guess what..its normal for us to be skeptical now because after years being picked apart and criticized for everything from our consumer habits to our taste in food we want to see just how much of a "shining" examples these other nations will be.
Please don't be-little us with your posts in your arrogant manner...its really insulting.

On another note, I find it strange that this happens in a land like the US. I just couldn't imagine something like that hurting The Netherlands or Belgium that much. One way or another I have more trust in our governments than in the American.
Incredible. At a time like this you choose to highlight the U.S.'s failures and weak points and to knock it because of your personal views.

What a classy fellow you are.

Looks like America's not that well organised after all. And like you've said a lot of people in America are living below the poverty line or need three or four jobs. Do you think there are a lot of people like that in Belgium? In all reality, the US is one of the most inhumane countries I know. I would never complain about the billions the US send overseas when you weren't spoiling billions on war either. What has the war in Iraq costed America and what has it brought America? It's just throwing away millions.

Oh so you believe it's normal that something like this happens in a well educated country? It's only natural, right?

It's not like this is the first time to be honest. Whenever something about America comes up Seven has to talk crap about it to fuel his own personal views. But to do it after a disaster like this is a real shame.

    Pathetic, Andy.

Feel free to act as if America hasn't got some serious social problems.
Feel free to act as if it's normal that this has happened and that there couldn't have been done more.
Feel free to act as if it's wise to spend money on a useless war instead of helping your own citizens.

"Pay for our arrogance"...Seriously, you're one of the biggest cunts I have ever seen on a forum. Does paying for our arrogance include paying over 400 million for Tsunami relief funds or any other disaster that comes the world's way?

And yeah, don't hide the fact that you've been just waiting for something like this to happen.

Andy ffs you are making yourself look stupid. 400million for a Tsunami donation dosen't weight up to jack shit in the whole scheme of things. Same with us.

You're troops are in Iraq and you're people are dying in their streets because they cant get help, your mess.

And help would from many nations would be there if it was asked for, so stop playing that card.

What I find ironic is that whenever a disaster hits any other part of the World everyones waiting to see how much will America donate and they never seem to donate enough. Then when a disaster happens to them everyones like "oh well theyre the #1 superpower in the World so I guess they can pay for and care about it themselves."

Good luck Andy, all of you. I hope the American public will remember this moment and won't be overwhelmed by 'propaganda' when the next election campaign comes around.

We know what that's like here in the Netherlands

Not really, because this way poorer people will pay the price. I'm waiting on something that makes arrogant cunts like you pay the price.

Well, altho it might not be fair, I understand that. Imagine a poor man and Bill Gates need a heart transplant: would you sent a 100$ check to Bill too?

BTW, Seven and Andy calm down.
