She tried to join Cirque du Soliel's "O" show but due to her inability to be a world class acrobat and large rack she had to settle pushing cocktails at the Golden Nugget...
One has to start somewhere.

For the first time ever I think Saint Berlusconi should have shut his TRAP and not made that damn fukin move. WHich one?
    Abbiati.
ONce upon a team teams tried to outdue one another...tried to trick one another so as to have an edge ANY edge on the other. Snatch up players so that your competitor doesn't get them. Juve was facing 3 months without Buffon and trying to scrap up anything to replace him..Peruzzi, Marchegiani..anyone. It looked like a nice 3 months for Anti-Juve fans. Then Berlusca offers Abbiati to Juve which despite Abbiati not being a top tier keeper is one hell of a substitute in drastic times.
So why did Berlusca do it? Why did he decide to give JUVE his keeper free of charge?

As Padovano once said..."Berlusconi is a man of many things..stupid is not one of them"...

Suddendly Giraudo says "thank you Berlusconi" and suddendly Juventini in Italy think "Wow...Berlusca ain't that bad..."
If they bring that mentality to the voting booth Berlusca may just have bought some support for close to nothing..

SHAME ON YOU FOR THINKING OF YOUR POLITICAL CAREER BEFORE MILAN

    ..but thanks for everything else...

Thats one way to over dramatise things. The reason you are not a mod is simply because you are not mod material, you would instantly ban people like myself and Zlatan for no reason, and you certainly don't traverse many sections of the forum. Not much point in you moderating one thread is there.

On a forum I used to visit, one member was promoted to be a moderator. The first thing he did was ban himself :D he did it to see if it works.

    Guess what...it does :D

Entertaining blog entry, Nick. Can't say I can relate to the espresso commentary. :D

But you have to be careful about using titles like "THE JOURNEY OUT WEST"... If you catch someone old enough around here with that phrase, they might think you're talking about Steve Perry and songs played at their 1980s prom.

I can't believe for a second you are dumb enough to even wonder why it is like that. Honestly, do you expect them to give you fair coverage and a choice of what to watch, what to learn and what to buy? Do you think for a moment you're coverage of English football and everything else that is imported isn't about the TV deals and the money?
OF COURSE it's all about the money, and that is why I detest the filthy scum that can't even sell a product honesty. Are you dumb enough to believe anything different than that?

    Martin followed your post perfectly.

Now see, that's why we laugh at Americans all the time.
Come again Jae? Please explain what you're trying to say..spell it out for me one more time...

suddendly Juventini in Italy think "Wow...Berlusca ain't that bad..."
Woa, don't go that far Nicola. We thank Berlusca for the little kindness after one of his own players injured one of our's, however I can still hear those "vaffanculos" clamoring from the Bel Paese.

And anyway, aren't Italians smarter than that? In the Season With Verona book Tim Parks writes about when the Brigate went down to the Bari game, and one of the Gialloblu fans lost his special Verona hat...it flew towards the Bari section in the stands that was controlled by the police. The Verona fan screamed to the Police, however they wouldn't do anything about it. Then the fan protested and asked the Bari supporters to fetch his hat for him, and kindly enough they did, luckily enough, throwing it back to him. The Brigate broke out in a song of praise to the Bari supporters, "Forza Bari," and there seemed to be a general feeling of compassion between the two groups. Then shortly after kickoff, the Brigate continued their usual "Bari Bari vaffanculo!" and the home side fought back with their anti-Veronese slander.

Is this the norm in Italy? If one party makes a very nice gesture towards the other, such as in the case above, or Berlusca loaning us Abbiati, the other group is eager to give them thanks, almost following an unwritten law in Italian culture. However, when the good deed is forgotten and all is well again, the animosity seems to return and both parties continue on with their old ways. I can tell you one thing, Milan will not recieve any songs of praise when we meet them later this season (so I assume). So could this Berlusca ploy actually succeed in such an enviorment of thanks but no thanks?

That is always the argument for posters such as myself and Nick who have supposed "enemies" on this forum. It gets old and it's a load of bullscheisse.
