Actually Im starting to think like that too but sometimes I see people (old people) that you can see in their eyes that they love each other and have been together all their lives. So is that just a coincidence?
I think so. What you often get with older people, is that there weren't really that many options. This man or woman was probably the only one.

They're not that much in love as they know each other. Being with a person for over 30 years makes sure you know that person. After a while you either love that person (like you love your brother for instance) or you detest that person.

A relationship with someone is better than anything. If you love that person or atleast really like them.

Just sex is boring and pointless. Was fun for some younger years but that's not something that works long term.
Exactly.

Seven, don't give me that. I've been suicidal, I don't need anyone confirming that kind of suspicions (that I still have) to me.

Well, yeah, I know what you mean to some extent. There was this girl I was in love with for a while, that she was on my mind almost all day, and I never even imagined of having sex with her, because that's not what I was interested in, all I wanted to do was to be with her, even if it ment I could never even touch her.

SO yes, obviously sex is better when there are feelings involved, but right now I'd settle for random people as well :D

Alright then.

Imagine there IS such a thing as a soulmate, what are your chances of finding him? There are six billion people out there. Looks like you're about to waste a lot of time.

Feelings, yes. Love, no. Can't you just really really like a person and use her for sex?

Oh no.. I just got it :D.

7 years of pointless one-night stands and counting indeed. I'm gonna give it a couple of more years and my best shot (for love, a good life, career etc), then draw up the balance.

The thing is Erik, that love's not always what it's meant out to be. Finding the right guy isn't THAT big of a deal. You just need to make sure that you have a lot of friends and that you get laid frequently. A relationship isn't necessarily the answer.

Soulmates don't exsist they are made. You just have to find a compatible person (someone you like to the mesure that you care at what happens to them) at a right time and that is it, that's love

I was being completely serious :undecide: :D
In all reality, there's this girl I just told you about. You probably didn't read that though. But anyway, I used to be "in love" with her, but I'm not anymore. Nevertheless she has become my best friend. Two weeks from now I'm going on a holiday with her. Needless to say that things just might happen. I don't think I would refuse though. She just wouldn't be my best friend anymore.

That's unacceptable. Also a likely scenario, however. In which case I'll switch to plan B: suicide. What point is there in living if what you want doesn't exist?

You are right here, sex and best friend do not exist.
