Good you brought this up here, it would be a shame to comment on him in that thread. Personally I did not know what to do, but there was something about his post that I HAD to express it in a way or another.

"Inter Milan rap for cutting visit

Jul 23 2005

London mayor Ken Livingstone criticised a decision by Italian football giants Inter Milan to cancel a pre-season tour of England over safety fears.

The Serie A team were due to play Leicester on Monday night and play three further friendlies against Crystal Palace, Norwich and Portsmouth.

Officials at Palace said they were "saddened and angered" by the move.

Mr Livingstone said: "The terrorists I am sure will be celebrating their decision."

He added: "We cannot allow the terrorists to change the way we live or they will be very close to achieving their aim."

Inter coach Roberto Mancini and owner Massimo Moratti had insisted earlier that they would honour their commitment in spite of the terrorist activity in London.

But a statement on the club website reversed the position. "Football has taken a step back because of increasing serious events which touch the sensitivity of everyone.

"For this reason, and given the situation, the club has decided to cancel the team's tour of England."

A statement on the Crystal Palace website said: "Club officials are saddened and angered at the late decision despite the fact that only one of the games is in London and that other international sporting events in the capital including both cricket and athletics have gone ahead.""

Emma's theory aside, I suspect there are alternative reasons for why Inter wanted to cancel their tour ... but the guise of terrorism gave them an easier out to save a little face (albeit, not much!).

Say, Nick: speaking of espresso di Roma, I've heard word on the street that Ciampini in the Piazza San Lorenzo is getting props these days. Of course, if you thought the Piazza Sant'Eustachio was too heavily touristed, anything within a 1km radius of the Piazza di Spagna is a death zone. (Arguably the equivalent to what we have here in SF: Fisherman's Wharf -- which is akin to a tourist concentration camp that none of the locals ever venture into unless they have visitation rights with somebody.) Do tell...

As for the Berlusconi stuff, as someone whose avatar was this for probably my first thousand posts or so, I'm in the rare camp that find his stories, and Nick's obsessions, amusing ;)

Right Emma, you little retarded c*nt.

Juventus played in Tel Aviv last year, without protest. They just went to Israel and played. How about Chelsea a couple seasons back? After both appeals to move the match were turned down by UEFA, Chelsea travel with their second choice squad only. AND, stripped of their "Fly Emirates" sponsor logo out of FEAR.

And . . . Nick, I'm not a closet Berlusca man - I don't like right-wing politicians at all. However, your posting of Berlusca pics from time to time is always a nice break from the focking Liverpool Brat Pack accusing every other poster of being a double account and shit like that. I personally enjoy the 5 pics of Berlusca you post per year as much as the 75 pics of Jae Cole and 50 pics of Claire that Emma insists on posting.

Emma, when is the last time you appeared on this thread with something positive to say. You in a bad mood? If you keep attacking people all the time I might think you are Liliana's second account. :D

Ass lick:cheesy:

What can one possibly have to say about this forum that is positive?

I only asked Nick to stop posting the damn Berlusconi shit because Im tired of wading through it. Last few pages, 50% was Berlusconi. Enough already.

And Ive posted few pics infact and its hardly the same. They are members, they are here. Berlusconi simply isnt important to this forum and noone ever even responds to his posts about him so I can safely assume I speak for more than myself. If someone asked me to stop posting pics I would. If someone told me to give over on something I would.

Noone was offended personally, I never attacked anyone or called anyone a 'cunt'. When I stop telling people what is wrong with them thats when Ill be like you. Wanking in shoes and laughing at everything. No offence, but I need something tangable.

Just an observation: whether it's Chxta's posts on Nigeria or Nick's on Berlusconi, they seem to be like car crashes to you, Emma: you're horrified by them, but yet you keep coming back and are too compelled to look away.

Are those lipstick kisses all over that man?

Anyway Emmz, my daughter is waking up and we're going to swim in the pool now. Is that tangible enough for you, sweetheart?

Let me know when Jae Cole is coming to the USA.

Has no impact on my forum experience so no.

Am I wrong for wanting the best forum experience for myself and others? :D

Someone needs to cut the shit, someone needs to tell someone when they are overdoing it, someone needs to keep things in check. If someone else would do it, I wouldnt have to.

And come on, dont tell me those Chxta posts all over the damn forum in threads randomly, werent annoying? They were. I merely proposed he post them in the one place to stop derailing other threads and so I wouldnt have to read them. It worked briefly, now he is back to his wicked tricks.

Jae is probably already in the US, he hasnt been on the forum so.. Or maybe he is just bored and left. He only comes back because I keep asking him apparantly. I guess it is annoying to be hated for being cool :D

Claire has also sadly left. Apparantly she cannot post without wanting to physically harm certain members. Its for the best and when we coach her out of her room she will be going through an extensive real world reinstallment scheme. Best of luck with that Claire.

And finally ill soon be off to Leeds for a week to catch up with some hommies (gotta fight the routine) so the forum will be incredibly bland without the Brit pack. Awww :D

And they call me tedious? Hmm.
