I'd rather see Ganso here, what a talent this guy has.

He reminds alot of Rivaldo back in his deportivo days. His left foot is just too precise and accurate whether he's shooting or passing. Big mistake letting such a talent slip away and signing for one of milan's shit holes.

i wasn't so impressed last night...but overall he's a good cm and does his job...oh and the stamina that south american requires is impressive. Yesterday i saw elano at 29 making sprint after sprint forward and backwards, sliding tackles in the corner zone to get an out throw.

Neymar: I'm ready for Italy

Santos striker Neymar claims he is fascinated by Serie A and feels ready for a move to Italy.

The 19-year-old is widely regarded as the brightest prospect in world football along with his teammate Ganso who is attracting interest from Inter and Milan.

Interviewed by Il Corriere dello Sport, he said: “I like your League a lot. The Scudetto will be a three-way fight between Inter, Milan and Napoli, but I am supporting the two Milan teams. I have lots of friends in both.”

Asked if he is ready to play in Serie A, Neymar replied: “Yes. The ball and the pitch are the same all over the world… Why shouldn't I be ready?

“Serie A is one of the greatest Leagues in the world, but for now I am very happy here at Santos.”

Neymar then gave his reaction to reports that Juventus are keen to bring him to Turin.

“Honestly I am not thinking about this. My father and my agent concern themselves with my future.

“I know about Juventus' great tradition and the champions who have worn the black and white shirt. Zinedine Zidane is one of my idols.”

On-topic: Neymar's words about Italy and Serie A will always keep our hopes up, but... yea... you know.. He's not going to join a non-CL side is he?

he's young and he has that kind of opponents. When he'll play against real defenders he won't be able to do that. The video shows his feet's skills, his fast technique. Becoming a half or ronaldo would be a dream if we will get him
Yeah but what I want to know is, does he have a strong shot on him? Is he any good in the air? And how is his passing? Those videos don't answer any of those questions.

-average in power, fairly good in precision
-great passing, great vision on the field
-weak in the air
