I agree with what Vlatko said,

As much as I was skeptical on Beckham, there is no doubt in my mind Ronaldo, when fully fit, is a player from different planet. Obviously, it is highly doubtful whether he will reach his full height, but 70% Ronaldo is good enough to be a valuable contributing member to the team, in the same way Alex has been for us throughout last 7-8 years or so.

As long as we don't have to pay a cent for the transfer deal, and not pick up all the wage burden of Ronaldo (Nike could assist that), then I will take him in a heartbeat. It is clear from Cassano's recent interview, Ronaldo still got it in terms of ball skills, and general knowledge of the game. We just need to get him on a fitness gym, and shed some fat off his body. In a new environment, I do think this is not entirely beyond realm of possibility. In any case, we can ask him to persuade Robinho to join our team. He is after the all the King of Brasil.
Took the words out my mouth. We would have to be very cautious about his contract. Ronaldo's out of shape already and the way things are going I don't think he has many years left. If we were to acquire Robinho, we would have to adapt a playing style we haven't know for quite some years now.

The rumours are we are virtually getting Ronaldo for free with Nike taking the majority of financial burden. I too don't think Ronaldo has many years left, because it is virtually impossible to stay injury free without keeping yourself in a phenomenal shape. But his transfer will be good to raise the profile of the club, and cheap alternative to Trezeguet, whom we must sell if he doesnt extend his contract this summer.

Robinho is a next global superstar in making IMO. He needs to beef for Serie A, because likes of Zapata & Pisano will mince his leg to pieces. But I think he is a risk worth taking. He will be our most talented player by a long distance.

It would be a disaster.

On a brighter note, radio reports in Italy this morning are talking of Di Natale on the verge of moving to Juve from Udinese.
:disagree:

Signing Ronaldo would be a disaster but Di Natele of Udinese is good idea??? Do you even watch football??

Somebody is in a bad mood today. :pumpkin:
No way, weekend is about to start, we have confirmed the signing of Grygera this week, Faty seems close and Barzagli also, why would I be in a bad mood.
I would be if we sign Ronaldo.
And Robinho will just stay a wet dream, that is why I said to my zagreb friend to wake up because he won't come this summer.
