The call-ups

Juventus’ summer training programme kicks off tomorrow, July 15th. Under the watchful eye of new head coach Didier Deschamps, the team will head for Acqui Terme late morning where they will take part in their first afternoon training session at the Mombarone sports centre.

The list of players called up for tomorrow is as follows:

Goalkeepers:
Landry Bonnefoi
Antonio Mirante
Matteo Trini

Defenders:
Federico Balzaretti
Giovanni Bartolucci
Alessandro Birindelli
Francesco Calanchi
Giorgio Chiellini
Nicola Legrottaglie
Andrea Masiello
Felice Piccolo
Andrea Rossi
Pietro Zammuto

Midfielders:
Paolo De Ceglie
Giuliano Giannichedda
Olivier Kapo
Andrea Luci
Marco Marchionni
Claudio Marchisio
Ruben Olivera
Matteo Paro
Cristiano Zanetti

Forwards:
Valeri Bojinov
Tomas Guzman
Raffaele Palladino
Giuseppe Sculli
Rey Volpato
Marcelo Zalayeta

Some very interesting names there. Piccolo and Masiello for defence..i think Balzaretti and Chiellini look set for the future wing backs. Marchionni and Kapo for the wings and Zanetti and Olivera in the middle.

Our forwards look great in terms of future. Bojinov, Guzaman, Palladino, Sculli and Volpato....that is very nice.

now is a chance to really start something in terms of a future. we may be down now but the future could be very different.

I don't think Kovac is staying. He's too good and too expensive ,as Jun-Hide pointed out.

___________Mirante
Birindelli Tudor Leggrotaglie Chiellini
Marchionni Giannichedda Balzaretti
__________Nedved
_______Bojinov Del Piero

At best...
With the prospect of two seasons in B, I wouldn't be surprised by Nedved retiring.

Well i remember myself saying in the beggining of the last campaign wioth Crapello,,,thjat to change we needed a revolution,,,and that included to change the triade....

well it seems we went much more far........... but at least our future looks promising with this players...

I see the light in the end of this DARK DARK TUNNEL..........

i think we can do it.

if we could invest in somewhere, we should invest in the forward line.We dont have the tough center forward, only supporting strikers and i think playing palladino out of position would be beneficial as we need to gather the points very fast

Canna will leave ...being captain of Italy he cant be expected to be called up playing in Serie B .....and its time we blood sum of own youngsters. Having Del Piero and Thuram will be sufficient to lead the youngsters and mayb Nedved if he decides to stay with us.I hope we wont be hold ransomed to sell our players at ridiculous price.
