I think he is not so old...
He should be something around 29...

And we try to make a new team with young players...

I Say yes for Drenthe...

No For Grosso...

Better keep Molinaro and give many chances to De Ceglie...
Fabio Grosso's date of birth: 28 November 1977

About Drenthe, I heard he is not so good for the left back position and not ready for a big club like Juve. He would maybe be a good option for Nedved's replacement, otherwise better to look for another young LB. No Grosso, I agree. Let De Ceglie and Molinaro figt it out to see whether they can be Juve players in the future and whoever fails, we can then replace them.

Although we can also say De Ceglie is pretty young and still immature for Juventus but at least he knows Serie A pretty well now and has some talent. He could be a success like Chiellini, although remember Chiellini became a success at age 23/24, however De Ceglie may develop sooner, it is important to give him playing time. IMO he'd be better as a left winger than a leftback. He has time and can develop his defensive play.

Am i the only one here that sais that Molinaro isn't so bad????
I think there still are, a couple of members more, but soon or later,
everybody sees the light...

ok he is not something great but he is very explosive and can do a good work delivering the ball to the midfield...
Really??? You mean, using his brilliant passing and crossing skills???
How many time have you seen Molinaro playing, i wonder...

If we were to buy a LB, i dont want Grosso...
Ok, he is good, and in Euro he played well, but he is 28 and we are going to make something new here...
i would prefer someone like Drenthe...
he is young, he has some expirience and he can cross the ball realy well...
Fair point, but look at the situation, LB is by far our weakest spot, in our entire roster,
our owners are unwilling to invest a proper sum, to buy a good player and expensive, young player, like Drenthe.
And we just brought back De Ceglie, who seems to be very promising, but he is now too young!
Molinaro is a waste of time, space and salary, he is one of the worst players, who have wore a Juve jersey, in the last decade and def the worst who had the chance to be a starter, only because we had no other choice.
So we need someone better than Molinaro (thats the easy part, we hardly get anyone worse than him) , someone experienced to help our team right away,
old enough to step back when De Ceglie steps forward and fairly cheap.
I dont like Grosso either, but he seems to be the ideal candidate.

Dont worry, we wont sign him anyway...

The center of the midfield will be our weakest point if we don't sign someone...

i agree with you...
he is not a good player...
we need someone else with experience to help De Ceglie...
but in this time our board doesn't seem to give money for a DL...
and our priority now is a world class midfieler...
so i dont want Grosso or someone else now...

just splash all the money in Alonso or someone else...
And Molinaro and De Ceglie are just good for now...
Next year if we have more money we see...

we aint that rich to rainforce all our weaknesses so all i see for this summer is a GK,a defender like Ivanovic(???),a midfielder like Alonso and a winger

Molinaro MUST leave next year.funny think he wants to earn Italian call up from Lippi:rofl:

we need a modern left back like pasqual imo,a player who can equally attack and defend, not Grosso who lacks in defending or someone else who can only defend like we have Grygera on the right side

we could sign vargas but he went to fiorentina...

and we signed back de ceglie...

this is not bad, we should trust our own young players and this is something good...

and 4 years younger...

everybody that comes in juve gets up one level...

i am sure vargas would become a very good player in juve...

it just didn't happen...

lets wait and see how de ceglie will go...

Grosso Vargas and De Ceglie are attacking full backs
Lyon wants about 15 mil for Grosso
Viola paid about 12-13 mil to Catania
and we paid 3,5 mil for De Ceglie who is so promising ALTHOUGH HE STARTED HIS CARREER FROM OUR YOUTH,but we were forced to pay 3,5 mil for a player that in fact was our material.

cool dude...

inter payed 17 milions i think for Ventola

and much more for adriano that they had previously loan to parma...

they are far the most overpaying team around the world...

Yeah, but we got a fairly developed player in De Ceglie. We practically payed 3.5 mil. € for his development instead of developing him on our own. That's how I see it. I don't want to debate if this was a good way or a bad way now.

yea, i'm all for giving our young players a chance. even if one or two don't make the grade it's still better than buying almiron or tiago who play poorly all season.
