Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I just have a question for those who own or have seen the new kits in stores...isn't the material a little unusual than previous Nike tops? I went to the Nike store yesterday and had a look at the new Juve kits.

For some reason, I had a feeling the Nike stores here brought in the fake ones. But then I check out the Portugal NT, Arsenal, Barca tops and they were all with this new type of material, unlike most Football jersies out there.

Yes, the material seems to be thinner. I think it is to make players faster because it has less wage. I know it sounds stupid but I red it somewhere

it is kinda silly when they advertise that the new jersey weights only 142 grams or whatever. its not that the old ones were 20 kilos each

Yeah dude, I'm wearing it right now and the material is slightly corrugated on the inside of the jersey (very slightly) and it seems to be very meshy or breathable on the outside. I guess this is that new Nike Sphere Dry technology instead of the old Dri-Fit.
