Whether we get Sarri or not, my opinion on him won’t change.

He’s a coach who, up till now, has been great and has shown he’s willing to still learn. Forget his looks and personality, he plays positive attacking football, his players love him, and he would’ve been more successful if Chelsea players weren’t moody little bitches who never listen to their coach and kick him out the minute they feel like it.

He pushed Napoli close to the title twice, against a practically unbeatable Juve side in the league. That is by no means a failure with the depth we have compared to them, as well as our starting line up being way better than there’s. Let’s not forget we beat Allegris Milan, who had Ibra and Thiago Silva to name a few, yet no one criticizes allegri for losing that league title.

For people saying Conte, he hasn’t proven shit in Europe, couldn’t even win the Europa league with a Juve side that was practically the same one that allegri took to the final. He’s stubborn and has a big ego. Great motivator, but he Coaches inter now so fuck him.

Before anyone tells me sarris flaws, I think rotation won’t be a problem since now he finally has a proper line up to rotate. The only worry is him needing to adapt to opponents, and his obvious subs not being so obvious. If he comes in, Higuain hopefully doesn’t come back (he didn’t even use him in final, I think it’s an easy rumor to make) and Jorginho doesn’t need to come either (not what we’re looking for in the midfield)

Ancelloti is better how? He didn’t even challenge in the league, his team looked nothing like Sarris, and he was booted out of the group stages in the UCL which is what he was brought in for.

The club has always embodied right wing nationalistic values and especially when it comes to who mans the helm. no one can convince me that Sarri is the best option available. no need to part ways with max only to replace him with a lesser (Italian) coach

It's not that straight forward. Although Allegri is a better overall coach than Sarri, the former has clearly taken Juve as far as he can go. So in this context, I think we are better off with Sarri.
Not saying Sarri is my first choice, but I do think some of us are exaggerating. I think the league is a given, Europe is his real test.

Allegri is the best tactician, but if he wanted to sell all the players that were rumored, I’m glad he’s gone. He’s also very cautious which works in the league but not in Europe. And for the past two seasons we’ve had no play style whatsoever, no identity. It was time for him to go and Sarri is by no means a bad replacement in my opinion. The only thing I would’ve liked to see is allegri with a better midfield, but even then he would’ve started de sciglio and Mandzukic over our more talented players.

It's far from official. Nothing indicates he signed for us, apart from the rumors spread by people that are wrong 99% of the time. I have full faith in our management as I refuse to believe they would settle with a classless coach such as Sarri. I am still not buying it.

The last time we got a coach who liked to play attractive football, was Gigi Maifredi 1990-91. We lost 5-1 to Napoli in the season opener, which was the supercoppa. We also finished 7th in Serie A that yr.

He was in a group with Liverpool and PSG, and needed only a goal to proceed. Hes not a league coach, lost Hamsik and Jorginho and finished 2nd again (12 pts behind last seasons Napoli admittedly, but 1. Sarri is a lesgue coach and 2. They went all in last season). Id still take a CL specialist that wont bottle the league over a league specialist

If the objective is to conquer Europe via CL then I'm not sure Sarri would be the hire to achieve that. Winning EL doesn't really move the needle nor qualify the credentials.
