Then i do not understand, what is the problem for City to remain without a coach for 5-6 days.And why would we care?
It’s quite simple - why would a club allow a manager (rated one of the best in the world) that is under contract to leave if they can play it safe and only officially allow him to leave once his replacement has been fully confirmed.

It’s like saying why don’t you sell me your house & move out of it 5 days before the purchase of your new house completes, it’s fine for you to live in a hotel for 5 days.

What if the house you are then supposed to be buying falls through?

If the pep rumours are real then City hold all the cards as he’s under contract. Rightfully they will only release him when his replacement can be officially confirmed
