Andrea Agnelli and Pep Guardiola metjust before Easter ; a face to face during which the President of Juventus presented his offer to the Spanish coach to try to bring him to the Juventus bench (because the farewell to Allegri was already decided). In reality the first goal for the Juventus bench was Zinedine Zidane but then, the chaos at Real Madrid led to the call of Florentino Perez to whom the French could not say no.Finding himself so taken aback Agnelli has changed goal by focusing on the former Barcelona coach of Tiki Taka.
An offer of 25 million a year, a record engagement for the history of Italian football, as part of a 100 million financial transaction created on the basis of what had already been done a year ago to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. The intervention of a technical sponsor (Adidas) who would have used Guardiola Juventino as the testimonial of a new advertising campaign was also possible.
It is clear that Juventus is determined to invest heavily for the bench rather than for the players, considering the current squad (certainly, with some corrections and additions, very valid).
And the offer, along with Agnelli's words, convinced the coach that he was very interested and would be ready to come to Italy. To stop it all, however, we thought Manchester City, with which Guardiola has a contract, which blocked the negotiation in the bud, then presenting a super offer of 30 million for a three-year renewal.

You mean Allegri? Because that's what he said on his last press conference.

nah. someone here on this forum, some time ago, maybe 1-2 years ago posted a screenshot of a Pep biography where it talked about his time at Brescia and how when he was growing up he was a Juve and Platini fan which made him want to try Serie A at some point in his career. Ever since I saw that I felt he would be Juve's next coach. He was also praising Juve around that time.

Agency: Juve to appoint Pep | Football Italia

One of Italy’s leading news agencies is reporting Juventus will appoint Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola as their new Coach on June 4.
According to Agenzia Giornalistica Italia (AGI), Guardiola has agreed a four-year contract with Juve worth €24m a season.
AGI adds he will put pen to paper on June 4, before being officially unveiled 10 days later.
That corresponds to the line run by Radio Sportiva, as well as Onda Cero’s claim that the Catalan was in Milan on Tuesday talking to Fabio Paratici.

It could also explain why tickets to enter the J-Museum and tour the Allianz Stadium have suddenly been removed from sale for June 14.
The 48-year-old is the runaway favourite amongst English bookmakers, with William Hill pricing him as low as 4/6.
“It would depend on him, I don’t know, because he’s not a manager who likes to stay for more than three or four years,” Pablo Zabaleta, who played under Pep at City during the 2016-17 campaign, told BeIN Sports.
“He is such a passionate person. When you see he’s been with Barcelona for no more than four years, three years I think with Bayern Munich, and he can stay at City for as many years as he wishes.
“He would be difficult to replace, especially when you see how the team is playing at the moment. Everyone seems to be enjoying it and I hope he can stay for many years.”
