Daniele Pochettino:
"I met Mauricio a few months ago. We talked about Piemontese food (among other things). He's a nice and helpful person.
He has the desire to Coach Juve. He's equipped with all the qualities needed to Coach Juve.
Juve always recruit the best Coaches.
"Juve are looking for a Coach who has the profile of a winner and Mauricio has this attitude. In style, he is a bit like that of Conte because he wins with a competitive spirit and intensity."

Mauricio Pochettino's Piemontese cousin, Daniele to Tutto Juve: "Mauricio to Juventus is a feasible hypothesis. Everyone in our family wants to see him at Juve. He is certainly attracted to Italy. He told us he wants to come to our country to find his ancestral heritage."
The inevitable "cousin" news! :weee:

Marcello Lippi :

“Why hasn’t a well-run club like Juventus named the successor to Allegri yet, well it’s a difficult decision to make, but perhaps they are waiting for a certain competition to end,” former Italy boss Lippi told Tuttomercatoweb as he attended the Italian Football Hall of Fame Awards.

Pochettino and Poch are both progressive managers, and given the overhaul and modernization (new image etc) our club are undergoing, both would make sense.

I dont understand how that is insane, other than that it would be a big surprise. But yeah, so was Ronaldo, even the pundits did not expect that. (exept Tanu)

Not that I think we'd get any of these guys, but considering our history anybody who thought we'd sign Ronaldo would've been insane too.
True. True. I, for one, never thought we'd sign him. Seriously, it's fucking Ronaldo.

However, non-Italian coach and somebody with a different style, oh boy... no way IMO.

Insane in a sense that we're not a club who gets such coaches. We never have.

Winning and our brand. No way we sign a little fish which makes the value of our brand fall on stock exchange. Not after we created that status with Ronaldo and so...

We have our coach, it’s just a matter of time we have the official statement. And I still think Pep it is.
Let’s say Pep agreed to coach us next season, how do we proceed from there? Will there be a big signing fee, some kind of a compensation to Man City? Does he have a release clause? I don’t know how it works with coaches. Because as much as I would like to see him on our bench I know for a fact that he’s well invested in City and them in him.

Actually changing a style make a lot more sense than keeping the current one. It appears that Agnelli is desperately trying to grow Juve commercially. We tossed away the crest and the stripes already, so it makes sense that he wants to change the style of football if the current one fails to attract customers.
