Pachettino finishes higher than he is expected every single season. To me that's a major achievement.

And the luck argument is just :howler:. We put occurences we agree with down to skill or talent and dismiss everything else as luck.
Totenham getting to the cl final is based entirely on luck and nothing else.
When you depend on psv to give a damn in the last match, to scrape a result when they don't play for anything, it sure isn't skill.

Omg I can't believe these comments...That 2nd leg against Ajax who outplayed us was far from being lucky, they had tons of opportunities to score there and they didn't have Kane just like they didn't against City. think it's luck that squad with most valuable player being 30mil finishes in top 4 every season in EPL Poch being coach?

I didn't say nothing against his premier league finishes where he clearly overachieved. He is clearly a good manager.
I am saying they were lucky to advance from the group stage of the cl.If that doesn't happen, the ajax games don't happen.

Why people are insisting that he is coming, when he said that is staying at MC...?! Move on...
Watch the interview. He said that sentence, but the following few sentences kinda contradicts his first sentence. In football you never know or something along those lines.

Personally I dont think we'll get him, but Paratici enquired and otherwise planned for the future. Maybe in one or two seasons we will be coached by Pep.
Put it this way: will Pep coach city forever? Will Pep coach City the next 5 years? Definitely not. Where will he go after Spain, Germany and England? Italy? France maybe? Back to Barca?

Their most valuable player is more like 100m not 30m. I wouldn't say Poch overachieves finishing Top4 with that team, but of course such evaluations are subjective. Milan and Inter have bigger pulling and financial power than Napoli, however finishing with this Napoli team ahead of them is expected, imo it's similar with Spurs and Arsenal.

Im kind of gonna forget about Pep , seems way to crazy. i Need evidence.

Poch , on the other hand is not just luck. The guy is a very good and forward thinking coach and thrives with being a underdog. This year he had no transfer budget ffs.

Almost all his players in Tottenham have improved in some sense since he was apointed:

Lucas Moura , a PSG outcast has flourished. Delle Alli and Eriksen became superstars under him. Kane also evolved massively under him. Then you have the squad players with the likes of Lamela, Llorente etc that also puts in a shift.

Tottenham as a club has also flourished under him.

He must have a strong character to make this team achieve in the way they have.

calling it luck is very disregarding.

Wouldnt cry if Pocch comes here, but dont u guys forget this is a guy who lost to Inter and was really close to finishing third in the CL group behind Inter.
He had a great games vs Ajax (second leg) and City in CL, but cant forget about his so so start of the campaign.
