What do you prefer? Ranieri staying due to qualifying for Champions League, being in charge of summer transfer market and making a squad for next season or failure for us, missing out on CL place and missing out on better players and financial injection from CL competition?

Frankly, I don't see any good things for us with Ranieri staying even if we qualify for CL as we won't get the automatic CL spot, thus making it possible that we continue in UEFA Cup. We don't have the squad for Europe, even our best players will be one year older next season and Nedved may retire. Who is going to make the difference for us? Besides Iaquinta and recently Sissoko, Ranieri didn't bring us any great players nor did he develop youngsters. Lately I have made up my mind that even De Ceglie, Giovinco or Marchisio won't be back with this bad coach as he will just ruin them. Ranieri didn't develop Criscito, Molinaro, Nocerino nor Palladino. Infact, all the players have turned out be huge flops despite the talent they possess due to sterile tactics implyed by Ranieri. His constant stupid remarks, lack of guts and false hope he is giving to us makes me so pessimistic that I can't remember any good rasons why should he stay. I don't want our club to be left in a mess like he did at Valencia last time. It'll just need more time for us to recover and we really need to create a good basis for the future. I guess Ranieri considers players like Mellberg, Lampard, Gilberto Silva, etc. as the future and rejects any possible signing of a talented, quality young player. What is his excuse? That he doesn't have the money? Bullshit. Look at last summer transfer market. We will likely have more money this summer and it just needs to be invested smart. We can get very good, young players with great potential for a reasonable amount of money, it only has to be dome by smart and competent people, which Ranieri and Secco are not. They will just waste another year and further increase our problems.

Replacing CR now doesnt mean necessarly that we are going to struggle, on the contrary it mah have a positive affect on the team (especially if the rumors that players aren't content with his decisions)!

As we all have seen, all the team achievement till now or the majority of it is the team's merit not his!!!

And as you mentioned marko, he isnt helping the players neither youngsters nor the older ones...

to look for a better future for Juve, we need to replace him asap, and secco as well (secco can wait till the end of this season)...

The point about going the prems in the CL is a good one to bring up.

First and foremost the aspect of ranieri being sacked in the summer is on especially with the actions of our beloved board last season.

Secondly about the going through the preliminary stages of the CL, we could still have the squad to get through starting in early August. Bringing in our loan players and with a few players bought, then we could have a decent squad. We have to remember that we just want to do well in Europe in our first season back, nothing great our focus should be the league.

Finally, again after the actions of our board last summer and even this January we cannot establish that they are not acting independently on some of the transfers. The board with their transfer policy are a big factor with this argument against Ranieri. Sadly we do not have the means in the management department to formulate a proper assessment of the transfers.

Having said that i dont like the prospect of lampard or Gilberto coming if Ranieri said anything about them.

EDIT: Another thing i forgot to mention is that we have to consider that exodus of our own players if we don't make the CL. Gigi would leave and even maybe Trezi and camo and i wouldn't hold it against them.

Another thing is what kind of recruitment we would make if we can't even offer the CL? Our name value won't get us the big names every time.

That`s also a problem.Why only to look on worst options than Ranieri?Yeah I know there are some even worse than him(like 2-3 of them,Donadoni and Domenech) but there are also much better right?

Maybe because he had no time to fit in with the team.Still I think we can`t slip out of CL spot.I think situation can`t worst then our currently.If we hire Lippi(I don`t know if it`s possible but I just say if) or some other coach in that rank I think we`d stay 3rd + we`d already play better in the first match.

I think it`s pointless to watch it from that point of view.If we sack Ranieri and by some chance some other coach do even worse job than Ranieri you would say "we should`ve kept Ranieri" ? But you don`t know if we would manage to do it with him either.

I just hope we don`t end up with Donadoni somehow.

Exactly.But there must be some more coaches.It`s such a pain to see him coaching Juventus.

How can you be sure that we`re going to sack him?Now when we`re in some crisis we have a reason why to but later?

Calcio Debate: Are Juve Fans Unhappy With Gigli, Blanc, Secco & Ranieri?

Juventus’ Champions League qualification hopes are in the balance following the loss to Fiorentina. Carlo Garganese would like to know if the Bianconeri supporters are happy with how the club is being run.

Yesterday afternoon’s 3-2 home defeat to Fiorentina brought a furious reaction from Goal.com’s Juventus readers. “Sack Ranieri”, “Secco please go”, “Juventus board resign”, “Gigli you haven’t got a clue” – these were just a handful of the kind of comments left by angry tifosi.

In truth this is the feeling that most Juve supporters have had for a quite a long time now – they simply are not happy with how the club is being run.

Coach Claudio Ranieri has taken much of the flack as ultimately the buck stops with him.

'The Tinkerman’ has been praised by those higher than him for leading Juventus to third place on their first season back in Serie A.

Frankly this is rubbish. Even though Juve lost a herd of world-class players following the Calciopoli crisis, they still retained a host of brilliant and experienced players, including the old guard of Gianluigi Buffon, David Trezeguet, Mauro Camoranesi, Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved, who would walk into any other Serie A squad. This is the core of the team, and when you add the likes of Vincenzo Iaquinta and Giorgio Chiellini to the mix, how it can possibly considered an achievement to finish in the top four I do not know.

And even this is not a formality. Fiorentina have closed to within one point of Juve following their victory yesterday, while Milan are only five points back in fifth. Indeed only third place will guarantee qualification for next season’s Champions League. If the Rossoneri win the competition this campaign (their past record over the past five years suggests they could go close), whilst finishing out of the top four in Serie A, then the fourth placed team that could be Juve will be forced into the UEFA Cup.

This would be disastrous for Juve. Gianluigi Buffon would undoubtedly consider his future, so would Mauro Camoranesi and David Trezeguet, Pavel Nedved would retire, while the chances of recruiting top-class players in the summer transfer market would diminish.

Not that the current sporting director, Alessio Secco, would be capable of recruiting anyone good anyway.

Secco is quite possibly the worst transfer director I have ever seen in my life (if anyone knows anyone worse please tell me). His record, to put it nicely, is quite laughable.

Since replacing the king of transfer gurus Luciano Moggi in 2006, Secco has spent in the region of €40m on the following four players: Jean-Alain Boumsong, Tiago Mendes, Sergio Almiron, and Momo Sissoko. The first three all flopped massively, while many feel Sissoko will follow along this same route.

"If I’d have been in charge with the transfer budget that was made available last summer, Juventus would now be fighting for the Scudetto,” Moggi declared last week.

And he is absolutely right.

With the core of players listed above that Juve already had at their disposal, all they really needed was to spend their money on a top-class centre back and top-class creative centre midfielder and certainly they could have been challenging for the Scudetto.
However surely all of the blame cannot be directed at Secco for these disastrous transfer operations. If the sporting director is incompetent, should he not be replaced by those higher up than him?

Giovanni Cobolli Gigli and Jean-Claude Blanc have come out and supported Secco, saying he will be in charge of transfers next season.

So who will be on Juve’s shopping list for next season? Well Titus Bramble will come in at centre back, Emile Heskey will add some firepower up front, while Nicky Butt will be the answer to the Bianconeri’s desperate shortage of defensive centre midfielders.

Outsiders may laugh but the view of the majority of Juventus supporters I have spoken to, are all bitterly opposed to how the club is being run.

There just doesn’t seem to be a decent structure in place, starting from Gigli as President, right through to Ranieri as coach.

The days of Gianni Agnelli and the brilliant Triade of Moggi, Giraudo and Bettega are long gone. The Triade were loved by the fans, first and foremost because they were brilliant at what they did.

The current management have shown few signs that they could ever live up to these high standards.

Going to the CL by a long shot. Its all about money and how "attractive" your club is. Ranieri might be a useless coach, and if he isn't gone before next season, he will either be shown up or successful at the CL. Its about the clubs progress from the demotion to Serie B to the CL as quickly as possible firstly, thats way more important to me. It doesn't make me totally convinced that Ranieri will bring CL football to us though.
