Me as a Chelsea fan i cant believe how stupid they can be if they sell Matic to United.

He will practicly make them frontrunners for the title. The presence Matic brings to the midfield is huge, and to pair him up with Pogba and Herrera will be devastating.

Juve will miss a huge oportunity if they miss out on Matic, he is still an amazing athlete that never stops running and a physical freak thats hard to compete against.

Its also notable how physical United squad is going to be, correct me if im wrong but they will be basically able to field starting eleven with almost every player having at least 185cm. Mourinho seems to be obsessed with height of his players lately as almost all his transfers are close to 190cm.

You misunderstood me completely. I never showed any concern regarding the money. In fact I don't care, those aren't my money so why should I. In recent years we overpaid for many players and usually I'm happy that the club gets who they value highly. Just today we're closing in on Bernardeschi and the guy will cost us 40m. I'm very happy even though he's not worth the money at the moment (but he has potential to be much better and improve).

Overall I tried to explain what I expect and what is the most likely scenario. I've been following the club since 2001 so I know how it operates.

Personally I like Matic the most out of all the names being mentioned in the media. I don't rate Matuidi at all and I don't know Can even one bit as I don't watch EPL besides an odd game like once a season. N'zonzi - I saw him only in CL. Witsel luckily went to China so we dodged a bullet there

I dont understand this. The guy is a beast and was instrumental in both their recent titles. I even remember comments on this forum praising him. It aint even a Serbien thing, he is just pure quality and exactly what our midfield needs. Stepping into his physical peak now, too

Matic is very good at what he does but he is not a two-way player, os to speak and that's what ultimately limits his usefulness/value to a team.

His limitations will possibly be less pronounced in the 2 of 4-2-3-1 but it's still not an ideal situation ... and there is again the issue with value - there is only so much a team like Juve would be willing to pay for a player like Matic. If he is indeed going to manU for 50 mil BPs, then I agree with Juve not going all in.

No a must-have-at-any-price player, imo.
