but like others said, this is a lot of money and nedved is 32, offers like these dont come all the time, juve should make most out of it.

it would be hard for the club to let nedved go but a club's gotta do what's best for itself.

what does worry me is that Moggi would sell Nedved and replace him with Jankulovski. i like him as a player, but we need a world class young playmaker to take over nedved.

this is the same with our other stars. if we sell trezeguet, we should replace him with a star, and not a player who has potential like gilardino for example.

Keep him and tell Chelsea where they can stick thier money, everyone here has Juve;s future mapped already

The guy has given 3 excellent years and what does he get from so called fans, sell him and get a younger replacement so we can safeguard our future

As If life is that simple, sell one of your best players and buy someone who rocks in another country but have no idea how he would do in your team because it sounded so easy on paper

There is no point in building for the future if you are destroying your past and present

How will these new players learn if the masters of their art have been sold by your very selves

If Nedved wants to stay, then the money should be turned down and where is it written that a 34 year old Nedved would be worse than the guys being mentioned

its not like we dont appreciate what he has done for us, denco, we're just saying he's already 32 and its a good offer, offers like that don't come everyday to juve's doorstep. and should juve does decide to sell nedved, we should invest WISELY.

you know i love your posts man :D

Ultimately, the Decision will be Pavel's. I would hate to see him go, he's my favorite, but if he feels that a change of scenery into a league that's a lot less physical can extend his career and still allow him to maintain his level of excellence, then he has to do what is best for him and Juve.

At least he wants to stay, which says quite a bit about the man.

However, if Juve does sell him, as long as they invest wisely, then Juve will be fine.

The players you mentioned (and we could add Zidane) where all sold because their abilities were either waning, because we had better alternatives within the club already (Pippo case), or, critically, they did not want to be with the club no more (Baggio, Zidane).

With Pavel none of that holds true. If Pavel wanted to be elsewhere I'd agree we had to look at our options.

Progress is improving. Not just changing. Nedved is the most important player on the team. If we had a confirmed star player to take Pavel's place it would be a different scenario. Like for instance Davids has been extremely good for Juve, but at this place in time he's expendable and we all know it. Doesn't mean I won't be sad to see him go.

Unfortunately "stupidity".... not that you didn't know or look for that :D .
At the time it didn't seem as bad though. Like with Henry it took some time for the horror to sink in...

We are talking about a club who gets about 30m for Tv money alone each year, loads of cash from Cl and not to mention the other monies coming from different avenues like players image rights etc

Nedved has never mentioned any desire to leave, he has given so much but because he is at a wrong age, you wanna get rid of him

Its like a man who wants to get rid of his wife just because he wants a younger model:D

Its not necessarily better and u never know what the future might hold, she may decide to ditch you too for a younger model too

I am no huge fan of the way Nedved plays as I like my players to be elegant and skilful rather than giving your all but you cannot but admire what he has done for Juventus

hey hey hey, if barca offer us 30 odd million euro, then id snap their hands off for it, that would bring us mexes, zlatan, and maybe a replacement for neddy, but selling trez for that money would be great, but if trez get more mobile id have to think twice:D
