Well, Vol.2 was a great improvement on the series, but they've gone even farther with V3! This game introduces the new trick stick, the right analong stick, which you use for tricks rather than the square button. In the PS2 version, they also introduced online. Also, they've added Practice mode, Dunk Contest, and being able to play with 6 people offline.
