They're all very nice. I'm impressed. Though I must say a lot of people are capable of shooting good photographs, he could become really good if he keeps shooting those pictures.

That't true, though having a proper camera really helps, and this one looking at the price obviously is.

I like the one with the glass and wine the most. If your friend hasn't checked it already he should register at: http://www.usefilm.com/
He can get a lot of help, reviews and critics there, it's a very large community.

Of course, naturally I'd prefer to use a Lumix camera from Panasonic. :touched: They use Leica lens, have superior Image stabilisation technology, chromatic aberration/noise cancelling. (this post is dedicated to Martin :D )

Just kidding, those are some seriously good photo's. If he lives in the Gulf, let him upload some pics for our photo competition. PM if you're interested. (or anyone else here in the Gulf and into photography)

I've seen some spectacular photography taken by amateurs. It's very encouraging, because at the end of the day it's not about buying the best camera out there (although the Canons, Nikons, Fuji's, Panasonics have their fair share of quality and unique specs to offer etc.) it's more like what you're able to do with what you have and your surroundings.

good stuff...
