edinburgh rocked last night when T on the fringe brought just about their best line-up ever to meadowbank stadium.

silversun pickups were a pleasant surprise though the girl in the group fits about as well as kanye west at a klu-klux-klan meeting.

then came the noise with Nine Inch Nails, who said "we make noise" which is pretty much sums up their brutal set.

then the moment i had been waiting for, Foo Fighters! what can i say but they are a fuckin awesome act live, 90 minutes flew by as dave grohl went through pretty much all their best hits, an arcade fire cover and a new song. interacting with the crowd superbly, grohl really set down a mark for how a show should be.

have a stinking migrane this morning and my ears are still rivging but what a great night

it is organised by Tennets (shite scottish lager) who of course are famous for the T in teh park festival every year. since the edinburgh fringe/festival is the worlds biggest arts festival in the world it makes sense to have musicians involved.

    I hate all those bands....
TBH nine inch nails aint my thing, bit too wierd for me and all the strange goths were out in force, but silversun pickups were surprisingly good....in a smashing-pumpkins-tribute-band kinda way

Lucky you...the only dosage I had for a rock gathering was dubai desert rock 2007....the Bravery, Incubus, Robert Plant...good stuff...but not enough to satisfy my taste.

I'd love to see the Foo's one day. I got all their albums. Big fan, here :)
