You say that as if Zalayeta's been playing badly this season, which is definitely not true
yeah..he seems good this season..but he is really a mid player.not more.this season is a strange one for him.he is a nice sub but not as good as that he plays in the 1st eleven.saying that he is better than dp this season and then he should play as a fix player instead of dp is rubbish.

How in any way is it rubbish? If Zalayeta is playing better than Del Piero, Marcelo should get the start no questions asked.

The sign of a true coach or leader is to have the magical skill to make his players play better then they, or anyone else expects they can. If a 34 yr. old veteran is playing better than a young greenhorn, he should play over that player, and vica verca. Also, if this is done, it can cause rivalries which will make the players step up, or they may lose their starting positions.

Also, to add a comment for which this thread poses: Mutu would be a wonderful addition to the Turin Giants, and at the same time a respected and dangerous player to whomever he takes the pitch against.

and he is really doing better than alex this season?how many minutes alex has played for juve?he missed some of juve matches because of his injuries but he's scored 5 goals until now.even if dp and zala both are in form,i would choose alex because at least he is more decisive than zala.players like alex have the power to change the result just in one sec.the ability that alex has and zala doesn't.

Hmm, decisive power? If you're talking about Alex's decisive tap-ins, I'm sure Zalayeta has that power too.

but who would you choose between ale and zala if they are inform equally?believe me there is no bilnders.but i know ppl like you are too much around dp and i dun know how can he stand this pressure.even when he scores, even when he's playing good many threads are formed to discuss about him and i'm sick of this.just look.here's mutu's thread but we're still talking about alex.it's unfair.he seems inform and really deserves a place in the first 11.since capello knows what he do.

Yes this thread is about Mutu.

I pray Moggi will acquire Mutu, because Del Piero will never regain his best form. Alex is not even at 50%, and he never get that other 50 back. Bring in Adrian.
