Does anyone listen to this band ? They've been my number one for the past years and their music never gets boring. It's original, it's new, and it's creative.

Especially albums like, Origins of Symmetry, Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations

Their music makes you escape reality as well if y'know what I mean...

Muse is brilliant.Easily one of the most talented,if not THE most talented post 1990 band out there.I only got into Muse after listening to them on my brother's mp3 player a year or two ago,but i haven't looked back since.Bellamy is an excellent songwriter. My personal favorite would be Sing For Absolution.Hysteria is pretty awesome too.

I've never been to a Muse live show, but from what i've read and heard, and the footage i've seen,i think it's fair to say that they are one of the best visually brilliant live bands out there currently. They've got loads and loads of talent, and unless they fuck it up pretty majorly,i think they would do great things.

I've seen them live. After that I knew that they are a band I'd definitely avoid.
Shame, they play their crappy stuff on live each time. Well, half of them at least.

I've seen them live, and they were crappy. That year I went to two concerts - Muse and Korn, and although I'm not a fan of Korn at all and sympathise Muse pretty much, i got much much more emotions from Korn (mostly played songs from Untitled). But yes, Bellamy got freakin high voice and their music is different.

You tend to overrate each new band you just started listening to.

As for me, Muse suck. Supermassive Black Hole doesn't though.

Just started learning Redemption on piano from Exogenesis Symphony, that's a beautiful piece of music, I'll see if it's worth uploading a video/audio after i learn the whole thing, but whole Exogenesis is one of my most played music this year. I'm truly in love with some parts of the new album, I can get the job done vocally, but since I play piano only for like half year (but like crazy, I probably play piano more than our guys train :D) it may be a bit hard.

I have mixed feelings with them, f.e. their last album has 4 great songs, but als 4 or 5 terrible songs.
Black holes and revelations was great IMO.

    And those sections would be?
MK Ultra (the author of lyrics is a genius)
Uprising (seems like everyone loves this song)
    Unnatural Selection
Exogenesis Symphony (all 3 parts are fantastic)
I found these pieces fantastic, Resistance, US of Eurasia, Guiding Light are decent. I Belong and Undisclosed Desire are the ones I usually remove from playlist, but i wouldn't call them terrible, they are just different from what I'm used to hear from Muse. I think that they have gone further with this album, not took a step backwards after the Black Holes and Revelations.

Here we clearly found our difference in taste, I find the first 3 songs great, but the others aren't so much my taste, my preference goes to the sound of black holes and revelations more then to the songs on The Resistance.
