yesterday i started to write a very long post about this but had to pick up a phone call and never finished the post. long story short, the first pediatrician of my son, a knowledgeable, experienced, very, very attentive and conscientious lady was caught in a nasty story and was sent into early retirement. in my hometown, a mom of 3 stopped breastfeeding and then completely stopped feeding her 3rd child. the pediatrician wasn't let in the apartment for compulsory family visits because of a bullshit excuse, then she returned for a 2nd time, then alerted authorities, they told some health visitors (??? hope it's the right expression) to try to get in the apartment, they couldn't, called the police, they called the ambulance, nobody was let in, eventually the police broke in but the baby was already dead. the mother simply ignored the kid. and it was her 3rd, and the first 2 were healthy and well fed, so you could safely assume that it would be the case for the 3rd too. but it wasn't. so everyone involved in the case, including the pediatrician was found partially responsible for the death of the infant. allegedly she should have alerted the authorities after the first failed visit. anyway...

point is that sometimes parents aren't ready to make responsible decisions for whatever reason. and in those cases, the state should be smarter. and this is why you trust the experts. you bring your car to the car mechanic, you let a luthier set up your guitar, you don't start fucking around with the soldering iron for your first time when your amplifier blows a capacitor, and when you brake a leg, you rely on a surgeon.

and yes, trump voters are responsible. they enabled rfk jr and trump. it's not a coincidence that a lunatic like this surgeon general can come up with such an idea under trump and rfk jr. needless to say, rfk jr's "don't trust the expert" movement is extremely dangerous. kids will die in florida, and elsewhere too if these imbeciles aren't stopped in time.
People in Florida already started dying from drinking raw milk because RFK Jr told them to do so lmao

A medal for Giuliani?

Really? Is that where we are now?

@MAXCAP
@Hust

Is this really what you want?
Trump's way of saying "Not paying your legal costs for years of service, but here's a medal anyways"

i still like ossoff, but it's not only him, even his employees turned against kennedy publicly. no wonder, what he's doing is dangerous and unsustainable

He's a fucking nut case, much like the rest of the MAGA movement, as fucked as the UK is, im glad I'm not in America right now.

Out of all of those Trojan horse fucks I think RFK is the one that I hate the absolute most, and that's saying something.

i mean what the fuck, rep luna, good morning lady.

also, which foreign agency it might be? maybe consider maxwell's family history too. so which one? make ONE guess lady

like these people never ever read anything about epstein. fucking hell.
It sounds like she's committing a "hostile act."

I know a couple people I went to HS with that moved to FL. Super weird, the girl would give birth at home in a kiddie pool and post about how stuff has bad energy and chemicals etc, I forget exactly what the conspiracy theories were but they were cuckoo level.

Pretty sure that’s the kind of people that will not vaccinate their kids if given the option.
:agree: it's only going to attract more mentally ill weirdos to Florida, which isn't exactly something they need more of. They're going to become the new Alabama/Mississippi.

People in Florida already started dying from drinking raw milk because RFK Jr told them to do so lmao
I know someone that got very sick from it, he had to be hospitalized for a number of days from some infection. This trend makes no sense, all that over fucking milk?

senate hearings are probably my favorite thing about murican politics as our committee hearings very often happen behind closed doors, at least partially.

cassidy is a bit late with playing hardball with rfk jr. he had the chance of not confirming him. it's sad to see that they cannot go to trump and make him realize that he appointed a fucking lunatic, they have to play this petty game to make trump second guess _bobby

warner absolutely kills him though with no filter. i wish it had consequences

this is the guy who said that if you covered the whole earth with solar panels we'd still only have 20% of global energy demand

correct me if i'm wrong but most of these trump 2.0 administration members are fairly simple clowns, right? vance and rubio have iq's above room temperature but they are as spineless as it gets. the rest though, just unqualified, ridiculous simpletons

maga will believe the doj.

Just watched the "AI Leaders Dinner" at the White House. I think it played out as expected. The usual folks of Sam, Sufra, and Sundar were all very teacher's pet to Trump, and even Bill Gates was slobbering in thanks to the Fuhrer. Which is funny, because he also brought up AI-related tools in cancer prediction and other illnesses, which the right hates.

The only attendee that was super awkward and standoffish was Zuck, who was sitting next to Trump but noticeably sitting a foot or more away from him, cramped against some other dude. When the media asked a question to Zuck, he said "I wasn't paying attention" and then Trump responded instead. He looked mighty uncomfortable and fidgety.

You can build as many data centers in my backyard as you want, but the fucking retards of MAGA won't be getting any of those jobs, unless they're the ones building the physical infrastructure. People don't understand that these cloud centers might have 20 cars at them on a daily basis. Highly efficient, no need for lowly educated MAGA freaks. The .gov will probably continue to invent fake "enemies" to employ people so they don't rise up, which means even more Fascism on the way.

We’re not even 9 months in. Can you imagine what’s gonna happen in like 3 years?
They will probably prop things up as much as they can through lowering rates and creating artificial crises, which will keep inflation high, of course. But eventually something will break and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s similar to how Bush’s second term ended. After the midterms, it’s all over with, IMO.

Data centers currently cost $25,000,000 per job, btw. I am citing factual numbers and am not joking.
