as for ethnic food, I grew up and eat "ethnic" food 90% of the time. also rice dishes >> pasta dishes
also i will not accept any 7/11 gas station cookies slander


also fuck italian food bunch of arrogant snobs, sure it's good but they act it's best thing on earth. not just italian euros in general. i'd love me a nice plate of senegalese jollof rice with grilled chicken, or panaak paneer with coconut rice, or a simple pad thai are all more banging then italien/euro civilization slop shit

But yeah, I ain't much a fan of pasta dishes myself. But pasta is merely a primi... it's not even the main course if you're doing it right.

But I do make some exceptions. Like an agnolotti del plin in the right hands. Or even a cacio e pepe done well. But I'd almost always rather have crudo di fassona. Piemontese raw veal beats some bun-assed burger anyday in my book.

And I am gonna make haters of all my Ghanaian and Nigerian friends because of them Jollof Wars, but Senegalese jollof rice is the best jollof rice.

2. peanut butter rasberry jam
3. peanut butter honey
4. peanut butter strawberry+apple jam

served with glass of either of cold milk or chocolate milk

I agree actually, a good smash burger is way more satisfying than a basic ass plate of cacio e pepe, peasant meal trying to act like it’s fancy.

And the options on toppings are limitless. Give me a little blue cheese and bacon on that shit and you have a fantastic dish. Some pomme frites too.

I've been eating Chick-Fil-A since 1987. But they don't have then within thousands of miles of me now. Always thought they were pretty reasonable for fast food.

Never did the Raising Canes thing, though my mom really got into them before she died of cancer. Not sure if that was related or not.

McKennie in particular is insane.

Every region in Italy has its own recipes and the variety is crazy. Is it the best cuisine in the world? That's personal taste. I think the entire Mediterranean has great food as does the Middle East.

But for this criticism to come from an American. Wow.

I think what he's trying to say is that regardless of where you go in Italy, most of the food is consistent and damn good. Chefs typically have the same style and technique, so he's right about a dish like cacio and pepe. It's going to be amazing at most places, unless you're in a shitty tourist trap in Rome, for instance. But in the US, you can have highly rated restaurants that are actually dogshit and can't hold a candle to some random place in Italy. I'm lucky to have a really good French restaurant nearby, with a quality chef who studied in France, but most other towns wouldn't be so lucky.

I don't think Americans have a good understanding of what good food actually is. Most of my friends do not. Which is sad, because they have been to Europe. But if you prefer some silly Murican seafood boil with shrimp and corn on the cob over an excellent bouillabaisse because "it's too watery", I think you should just stay in the bbq line next to the local Walmart.

Yessir. I'm huge burger fan and has become a major craving food for me, especially with a good Pinot Noir. I usually make a blue cheese sauce as well.
