that's how you fight china: by fighting harvard. stable genius

(not to mention that if you kill harvard, those students won't miraculously turn into plumbers. the same happened in hungary: 15 years ago they said we had too many economists and lawyers and we needed more plumbers. they took away state support, killed a few universities. now we have less lawyers than needed, schools lack teachers, our plumbers left for germany and austria, and we have to import philippin workers for our factories. populism will never solve labor market issues. killing universities is always counterproductive, no exceptions.)

US cancels more than $700 million funding for Moderna bird flu vaccine

The Trump administration has canceled a contract awarded to Moderna (MRNA.O) for the late-stage development of its bird flu vaccine for humans, as well as the right to purchase shots, the drugmaker announced on Wednesday.
Shares of Moderna were flat in after-market trading.

Moderna in January was awarded $590 million by the Biden administration to advance the development of its bird flu vaccine, and support the expansion of clinical studies for up to five additional subtypes of pandemic influenza.

MAGA is by far the least free speech party this country has probably ever had. Even the sight of a pride flag throws them into a hissy fit.
"Don't you dare put a gay person on television or I will feel attacked and I'll curl up in a ball crying" seems to be a common, rational response to people who aren't identical to them.
