Midterms are going to be pretty funny next year. All the Trumpie’s bragging about how he is great for 401K returns should be feeling pretty ridiculous right now if they weren’t completely shameless. However, if the markets do crash and fail to fully recover by midterms, GOP is going to get absolutely slaughtered by the independents.

When Europe defeated Napoleon and the conservative reaction was in full force, in many European countries professors with more liberal leanings were replaced by priests, monks and other religious figures. But not by average uneducated Joes with 2 teeth.

2) Demonize education leaders, professors, and thought leaders (such as the free Palestine and BLM movements), taking away their right to protest - check
3) Create a new agency to patrol government and locate any potential threats (DOGE) - check
4) Dismantle existing government oversight via the new agency - check
5) Create communication blackouts between agencies - check
6) Create an economic plan that isolates the country and demonizes trade partners - check
7) Remove the country from global institutions regarding health, security, and others - check
8) Implement economic plan which includes massive tariffs, creating massive supply chain issues and artificial scarcity - ongoing
9) Observe the economic fallout, creating a panic in the markets and full blown crisis - ongoing
10) Use the crisis to further double down on the above points - ongoing
11) Blame the crisis on foreign or domestic actors
12) Declare a national emergency and/or martial law
13) Suspend the Constitution and other laws
14) Utilize the newly trained domestic security apparatus to target actual citizens
15) Formalize the new nationalist government as the world watches
