By the way Costco is great, but only because they're standing up to the Nazis by keeping DEI and LGBTQ+ programs. :seven:
Their stock growth is even better though :klin:

Dude, I don't know about you in US, but here we have a small production and breeding egg or better say farm egg, We keep a number of chickens, roosters, ostriches, and geese and raising a flock of hens and I can say with certainty that farm eggs are both tastier and more nutritious.
get rid of those industrial productions.
@Siamak

100% agree, lots of my co-workers and neighbors have their own chickens and have natural eggs. They tell me once you have em you can’t have the ones at the store anymore, they’ll never be better after having a natural one from the back yard.

Anyways I’m not living off eggs, were I’m eating egg sandwiches everyday. My glorious wife however loves baking really great stuff.
I have farm eggs sometimes, honestly I don't notice much of an actual difference tbh. The yolks are darker but that's about it. The huge double-yolk eggs are cool though.

Having chickens around here can attract rats, so naturally there isn't much of that.

Nah, go to Union Square market and grab some fresh farm eggs. There’s no comparison. And better yet, grab them and some of their cheeses and make a carbonara. Doesn’t get better than that.

@Siamak Another thing to add, is I know every other country doesn’t have GMO foods (fruits & vegetables) like we do here in the U.S., all the products here are heavily processed and with ingredients like yellow 5 or whatever. Mtn dew from what I hear isn’t even allowed in Australia @Bianconero_Aus right?

Anyways I’ve been non-GMO for sometime now with Whole Foods & Erewhon.
Mountain Dew is readily available in Australia.

Btw we only sell the energised soft drink here nowadays. A few years ago, we used to sell the non-caffeinated version but not anymore. I’m assuming you have both types available in the US.

Yes we have both types here, you know we have no restraint on what’s bad for us.

Oh I see, ours however comes in a tall can, for the energy version.

I have 30 chickens. I get ~2 dozen daily. I have different breeds so I get different colored eggs (olive green, blue, brown, dark red, etc). Looks pretty cool when I sell them in the containers. I also mix a big container of dried ground chili peppers in with their food. Helps to make their Yokes richer/darker.

there is a clear difference in free ranch farm fresh eggs to store bought.

It’s the classic problem of scale. When you aim for scale, you’re trying to chemically and environmentally produce egg factories optimized to spit out product as fast and consistently mediocre as possible.

I get my eggs and a lot of beef from a work friend whose family has a farm. Totally worth the price for the quality.

The US already do this, their planes don't have full functionality for other nations without US controls, so they could simply turn off if they became enemies.

We've already seen talk of countries moving more toward other options. Great news for those manufacturers.

Trump's isolationism is so weird, the orange twat.
Isn’t that literally what we did with Ukraine? Sent them our old stock and replaced with new.

If you try farm and industrial eggs once, you can tell the difference. I think they add additives to the eggs in the factory. I don't want to be completely wrong, but even the color of them is different. I don't know about the law, but you can get your own eggs by raising a flock of hens in your backyard.

weren't they supposed to be after illegals only? latinos for trump, here's your reality check (if it happens to be true of course)

If you think you can trust the USA for the rights of its documented legal immigration system, just wait when it starts defaulting on T-bills :)

This guy deserves his fucking teeth knocked out, if he has any left.

Nothing in the constitution says the "President" can pick and choose who he wants here.

That's the dumbest Nazi shit I have heard today.

Looks like you don't need to color them for Easter! :)

There is no comparison between fresh products and genetically modified. The taste and nutrient values are different. Silly that anyone would debate this.

I also came across this lovely backgrounder... this is essentially Trump's motivation for tariffs and mass re-domestication of manufacturing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Import_substitution_industrialization

It was an economics recipe that developed nations (including the U.S.) gave many struggling Latin American and some Sub-Saharan African countries after WW II. It involved nationalizing more industrial production and using tariffs to enable it.

ICI was deemed a completely abandoned failure by the 1980s.

Essentially, Trump wants to model the US economy as if it were 1952 Brazil
