It’s weird how all of a sudden inflation exist under President Trump. It didn’t exist apparently under Sleepy Joe. Bidenomics was perfect, pumping billons into Ukraine didn’t add debt at all. Europe and the US have had too long a codependent relationship that has grown problematic. Yes, Europe got addicted to the US's military Ozempic, But the US conveniently liked it that way because Europe enabled them to play big dog in world affairs.

I think if we look back to the Euromaidan that we predominantly have two narratives that fuel discussions and a third one that gets ignored way to often. The first two are obvious, the Western (we want Ukraine in EU/NATO) and the second is the Russian perspective (the exact opposite of the Western one, obviously).
The third is where you fail, it’s the Ukrainian perspective, and that’s the most important one. It’s not about what Russia wants, neither about what the West wants, it’s about the integrity of Ukrainian people and what they want. If they wanted to become more ‘European’ than they had the right to do so, and it doesn’t justify the Russian reaction in ‘14
It’s also interesting to take a step back and ask yourself why would they want that, look to historical context as the Holodomor for example, or translate it to prosperity ex-Sovjet countries have who joined the EU eventually.
I’m open to be very critical on Western handling of the situation but again what matters the most is the integrity of Ukrainian voters.
